I initially bought this monitor because it was large and economical. Not only did I find it to be an excellent monitor but, more importantly, I discovered that I did not suffer the eye strain that often accompanied using my previous smaller monitor. I am delighted with this product.

Bought 2 of these for my sons who are PC gamers. Both loved the monitors and they worked great with their gaming pc's and games. Ended up returning one of them because my son said it was too large for playing his games because he had to move his head around to see the entire screen

This is a good 27-inch monitor. The connections are HDMI, DVI and VGA. The features I miss are: there's no VESA mount, no speakers and no USB connection. This is a 1080 monitor, and somehow I cannot get the text to be smooth and easy to read even after several adjustments. There were not enough reviews online. I guess this is what you get for its cheap price.

This monitor has sharp images and a bright screen. It also has fantastic HD video quality. I do want to mention that it does not have the mounting holes in the back if it for a wall mount kit or multi-monitor stand, but is an excellent choice for a desktop monitor like I needed.

I'm really happy with this monitor. Surprised about the fact that it's an HP product. I've been really disappointed with their laptops, desktops and printers. But the monitor is really smooth, even, crisp, easy to set up. I feel like I'm seeing what I get, meaning I'm getting the real deal. I love having this big monitor so much that I got my 80 year old father one. He had been crouching into an 18 inch monitor for decades. But I got a 27 incher of this product and basically opened up his world. And that meant the world to me. This is a decent piece of equipment. Maybe even better. I recommend highly.

I got this on black Friday for an amazing deal! I couldn't be happier! It is a huge upgrade from my 19.5 AOC monitor which is now my second display. The colors are bright, everything is super sharp, and it just looks amazing! If you find this for a deal, don't hold back.

My wife wanted a bigger monitor, but nothing huge. This works fine for her. She watches streamed movies on her computer and they look great. No problems with this monitor. But make sure the cables fit your computer. Had to go back a third time for the right cable.

At 27 inches, this monitor provides all the screen space one could desire without having to use a dual monitor setup. With its brilliance and color, games comes alive and are much more immersive, especially racing and open-world games. The slim profile exudes elegance, although the base is not adjustable. Keep in mind, though, this monitor does not have VESA mounting holes, so it has to kept on its base. Also, the maximum supported resolution is 1920x1080, which may be off-putting for those looking for 4K resolutions, but for the price, this monitor can't be beat.

a large and clear resolution that leads to an immersive gaming experience. it has also been great for close up design work, allowing me to get a clear and close look at what i'm working on.

Picked up the monitor on black friday. upgraded from a 4 year old acer 23". All i can say is wow! What a great monitor. Colors and brightness are on point. Play Fallout 4 on max res, BF4 on max, all look great with no ghosting or any issues.

This monitor is a great size .I can sit back in my chair the correct way and do all my work without squinting or getting closer to view it. Has a very good picture. So clear. My husband plays a lot of games on the computer and he loves it.

Got this on sale for $140, which was $110 off regular price. The large size is awesome. Pictures never looked better. Why settle for a smaller monitor? I had a 23 inch monitor before this one. The extra 4 inches make a world of difference.

The monitor is quite large, but I love it! The only issue we had when setting it up is that it wouldn't work with the VGA cable that it came with. That might just be operator error on our end, but we had a spare HDMI cable and used that and the monitor worked immediately. The picture is very clear and very responsive. I also like that the "buttons" at the bottom of the monitor are discrete and you barely have to touch them in order for them to respond. I would very much recommend this to anyone who wants a larger monitor, however, I feel that it may be too large if you were to buy two of them if you wanted to go with the dual monitor setup-route.

I own 3 monitors that are used for my flight simulator computer. 2 are HP and one AOC. My HP monitors are far superior in both resolution and contrast,especially during night flights. The active matrix screens are far superior to the passive matrix on my AOC. Furthermore, my 23 inch is 8 years old and still going strong. The 27 inch I recently bought is even better and is a great monitor for the price. I am considering getting another 27 inch and retiring the AOC. I am very pleased with the quality of HP monitors.

I bought this monitor on sale for $140 and for that price I cannot complain. It has great colors and is a very nice size. It can work with photo editing nicely but I wouldn't be able to compare it with new 2k and 4K monitors.

For the sale price (sub $150) you would be hard-pressed to find a better deal than this monitor. I have have several 27-inch monitors, including Dell monitors, and for the price point difference this is a no brain'r!

A basic monitor with a very good picture for home entertainment. I would not recommend it for AutoCAD or office use since the screen is glossy and there is no pivot function. Also there are no built in speakers but the screen size and sale price overrode those concerns for me.

It has a very good picture. Like most the preset is way too bright. After some adjusting it works well. The adjustment is why I gave it 4, not 5. It's software based. No adjustments on Monitor. You have to download the software to make any adjustments? The Monitor on the BestBuy website has adjustments on it? But the monitor I received didn't?

The monitor is the perfect size for my wife's armoire. Her computer is used for personal things, correspondence, and such. HP has an excellent product history.

Bought this monitor on sale on Black Friday weekend. It was very easy and fast to install. The setting buttons was a little awkward and cumbersome to navigate. Otherwise, a fantastic and HUGE screen. I love it.
