Picked two of these up recently for a dual display setup. It took me awhile to find monitors that fit the following criteria without having hyper aggressive gamer-branded designing. - 27" - 1440p - IPS - 144+hz I'm glad to say these fit the bill perfectly! The monitors themselves have a sleek display with minimal bezels and the colors look great. I was worried about the contrasting being weird but I haven't encountered any issues with that. If I had any negatives to mention, it would be that the buttons are on the back and a bit harder to reach, but I don't see myself fiddling with them much anyway. This model also came out just a few weeks ago so they're fairly new on the market. Overall I definitely recommend picking these up if you're looking for sleek monitors at a great value.

It's a 165hz monitor with a 1ms response time, outstanding! It's large at 27in, anything bigger would really start to look bad at 1080p and up close. Works fabulous, the base is sturdy and height is adjustable with a slide up/down and axis tilt. I am and always have been a huge supporter of the HP Brand name and I now have a good reason why that will never change! It has actual buttons you can press, not those bad designed tactile sensors you touch on accident and the monitor shuts off. Color quality is sharp and clear, the higher refresh rate makes it perfect! Viewing angle is much larger than any of my previous HP monitors (but those were in a completely different price range at either $90 or $120 for 22in and 24in). I am extremely happy with this purchase. I care for my equipment and protect it with quality surge protectors, proper maintenance and cleaning etc. I do not for-see any issues what so ever in the near future with this monitor!

Initial setup of this monitor was simple and fast, no problems managing the hertz and HDR from within Windows 10. Gameplay in Overwatch at an upgraded 165hz (from 60hz) was very smooth and exceeded my expectations at 1440p, it really is a better experience. In regular video playback streaming at 4k there is a nice increase in detail from the 10+ year old 1080p monitor I use, but it is not "a major upgrade" in that regard. I definetely recommend a 4k monitor over 1440p IF you want the detail of video playback over the a better refresh rate of gameplay, that this monitor offers. Unfortunately this specific product showed significant signs of backlight bleeding against my black desktop wallpaper background in the center area of the screen, meaning at still screen AND as my cursor moves across the desktop there are clear visible areas of strange glowing that interact with the mouse and screen itself. It is very distracting and takes away from the near perfect score that HP should be able to reach with the monitor. The only other defect I noticed with this monitor is that a couple times out of 50+ bootups, the monitor would not load the "windows log-in screen" after showing my gigabyte motherboard boot screen, but after plugging in another monitor to my Nvidia 1650 GPU, the HP monitor did finally activate again.

Fantastic monitor, was able to get it price matched for $230 so it absolutely blows anything else out of the water. Only caveat is the settings randomly reset sometimes but it's a quick fix

Great monitor for gamer. Wish I can swivel side way, but it's not a big deal.

This panel flickers. If you suffer from any kind of eye strain/pain from monitors this is not the one to buy. I have been getting eye strain and headaches which I never have from my other monitors and finally figured out it was this monitor. Rtings reviewed the Dell with the same panel and found it.
