Only the original ink cartridge last the longer than anything you can buy at any store even the extra life ones.

The ribbon is of good quality, but it does not last long, viz. the black. Given the relatively short life, it is rather expensive and it never goes on “special”.

I put just average because hp needs to lower ink prices! I hope this one doesn't dry up because I don't print enough at home like I did in college. We will see!

Good ink but I feel like you can only print like 100 Black and white pages with this cartridge. You cannot use off brand cartridges in HP products which really sucks.

bought for extra ink for printer that could not connect to my 5g wifi network and it got stuck in endless error loop that would not go away. returned to store for full refund.

I only printed about 30 pages, of which about 20 were in full color,, and already the 3 in 1 color cartridge is out of Cyan, and the Magenta, and Yellow has about 10% ink left. They were not full sheet highly detailed color pics.
Also, 10 -12 pages were just in black text. None were full sheets, and yet it is already only half full.
Ink cost way too much. I am sorely dissapointed.
I'm sorry you weren't able to print more in color. Ink usage of the cartridge (unless it was damaged or defective) will determine how long it lasts in your particular printer. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the air is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage: - Most people have found that the XL version of the cartridges are a much better value. - Using the black-only setting, when appropriate, will save on colored ink usage. - Shut the printer down between uses; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying. - Consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans let you pay by the page. When a cartridge is low on ink to begin with, or it appears that poor page yield was due to a defect, contact the seller.

I love it that HP is able to put two cartridges in one box. It is a little sad that the cartridges are only half full of ink. You get what you pay for.
