I'm sorry that your ink seems to be used up quickly. Using the draft and black only settings on your printer helps save ink.
You might consider using the XL size instead, or try Instant Ink, if it is available for your printer.
Also, shutting the printer down between uses can help. However, you always have to use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer 'park' itself so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying.
