Must have got a dud

The box was sealed but when I opened it the plastic package holding the toner cartridge was open. I installed it and after only a printing a few things it was already running out of ink. It was supposed to be a brand new cartridge. Nonetheless, it was a waste of money. I'll never order ink online again. I'll only go in the store now.

That sounds very frustrating. I can understand if you feel it is not worth it.
Since it appears that poor performance is due to a defect, please contact the seller. According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

The cartridges make up for that. I recommend saving an empty cartridge and refilling it. This toner cartridge has a much larger reservoir than the one that comes included with some models, by the way-- the out-of-the-box cartridge that came with my printer has maybe 1/2 or 1/3 the capacity of one of these manufacturer replacements.

I found the toner priced less elsewhere and Best Buy matched the price. HP Toner works great and lasts for a tremendous number of B&W copies in my P1102w LaserJet Printer.
