It is regrettable that you had this experience and it is too bad it happened with your first time purchase from them.
It is unclear what the problem is, but the seller is responsible for the product they sold you. If the poor performance appears to be due to the cartridge itself, consider contacting the seller about that.

I purchased this ink refill so I would have it on hand when needed. I have yet to change it, so even the ink that came with the printer lasts a long time. (I have 2 Grand kids 2-and new born. so I print A LOT of photo's.) This Ink produces great photos and dark text.
