Expensive Ink Cartridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HO 933 ink cartridge is a waste. These cartridges dissipate their ink when sitting idle in the printer. Suggest buying laser. Too expensive to do pictures. Very disappointed.

I am sorry that you don't consider the cartridges to be a good value. I hope to help your situation with some advice though.
If the printer is left on and not used for long periods, it will have to use some ink to clear the tiny nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper occasionally. Not doing so would let the printhead clog up and could result in a ruined printhead. Therefore, turning the printer off between uses can help to save some ink.
You do have to make sure that you always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off though. That gives the printer time to "park" in a position that helps to protect the printhead from excess drying, which would again, cause clogs to form.
I can certainly understand wanting to save money on your printing. I hope that this helps to make your current system more affordable.
