Nice and easy to use. Had some problems with setting up the WiFi connection but overall very happy with it. It’s perfect for small home tasks and kids school. Light weight as well.

I really like this printer. It's small, prints very well, & gets the job done. With color prints it can seem a bit slow, but it's so pretty when it's done.

Needed a new printer to replace our old canon printer and switching to this was great, being able to print over Wi-Fi is very convenient since whenever something needed to be printed I could use my phone or use my laptop without having to plug it in as well as the size of the printer is great especially compared to the canon mx472 we used to have. Only issue I would have is when I would use the print option on my iPhone it would take a few minutes to connect to the printer but right below that option is to print with the hp app which gets it done way faster

This printer is trash. Printing quality is garbage, there's always white lines through everything and it cuts off lines all the time. I have tried troubleshooting so many freaking times but HP's software is also garbage, it never works, it freezes up it will print out the diagnostic pages but then you can't ever complete the troubleshooting. I've run the clean cycle about a dozen times and it still prints like a steaming pile of turds. I am so frustrated by this stupid machine. YOU HAD ONE JOB.

    WORST printer EVER...

I purchased this printer to avoid taking up space (I had a large, older model HP printer with a scanner and it takes up a large part of the desk). It is small, but the print quality is HORRIBLE. According to the printer, it is aligned and working well, but my pics will show the results I get. Even when it prints out the "printer data" that comes from the printer (and therefore does not rely so much on connection to the computer) it cannot print everything. I was able to print a letter to someone, but after 5 fails, I switched it to B/W only, and that was the only way it would print! I'm still trying B/W only, but this is what I get... You cannot read anything. By the way, the ink cartridges are new and the printer says they're full. The first day I received the printer, it printed "okay", but after that, it has failed me every time. How can anyone use this thing? It feels like junk, and it is junk. I guess I'll have to go back to my big, lunky printer that takes up over a 1/3 of my desktop, but there you go... rant over (except that I want my money back)... now the rant is over.

It’s a nice simple little printer. But I don’t like the fact when you join Instant ink, they control your printer. I ran out of black ink and instant Ink sent me a color cartridge. I had to print out some things so I bought a black cartridge from Best Buy. I was with Instant Ink for two years and only had 2 cartridges sent to me. That was OK because I don’t print much. I canceled my membership because they did not hold up their end of the bargain by sending ink as needed. (their mistake ) I ended up paying for an ink cartridge from Best Buy. Then and get this, my printer would not print because it was not an instant ink cartridge. However, it was a genuine HP cartridge. So Instant Ink shut down my printer. Perfectly fine working printer. Support could not help me get back into the membership because their website kept giving me errors. I needed to print more and now my printer wouldn’t work at all. (It was explained to me because I had one genuine cartridge and one instant Ink, Instant Ink would not permit me to print)! They have full control over your printer. All these months I paid instant Ink and only received two cartridges. And they stop me from printing because I bought the cartridge that wasn’t from them? Really? So, I had to buy a whole new printer. I bought this one again because it’s the cheapest for printing from my iPad. Now I have one in teal and one in gray. Not happy but what can you do?

Privacy Invasive and Terrible Print Quality

During the initial set up of the printer I almost returned it solely for Terms of Service/Privacy policy, but was in a pinch and kept it. Definitely should have returned it. Print quality has never been fantastic, but at this point the print quality has degraded to the point documents are unreadable and unusable - despite fresh cartridges, several attempts to align and clean the print heads and even un-installing and re-installing the printer. Save yourself some frustration (and some trees!) and look elsewhere.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer is rendering prints of such poor quality. It’s easy to understand why that would be confounding and ultimately frustrating, especially considering the troubleshooting you did. With that in mind, I’ll offer some suggestions I hope will help.

I recommend following the steps listed in this guide to improving print quality, including faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly, and blurred or fuzzy text:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05040421

If the problem persists, I hope you’ll contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

If space is an issue, look no further!! This is an awesome printer to put in a small office or even a foyer table!! It prints well for color and B&W. Setup is through the app and not that difficult but could be a little more user friendly but all in all, great little printer.
