Everything has to be done through HP Smart and if that doesn't work and you have Windows 10 in S mode you can't download the diagnostic tool even though I also have an HP computer. I ended up having to return it and got an Epson instead

This printer is awful. It never stays connected; it's truly awful. It will randomly print out status sheets. The app says the printer is "ready," but none of my PCs or phone pick it up, so you can't print. Really terrible.

Little did I realized I was in for the worse purchase of my 2020. Excited to see her use the printer, we set it up. Doesn’t work!! Connected to the wifi, even watched a few videos to make sure it wasn’t something I did wrong on my end… I’ve tried everything, still NOTHING works. Apparently there’s a year warranty on it but it’s such a hassle getting it replaced. I gave up a while ago and took the L on this one. Maybe it’s just me but before I bought it, I saw some horrible reviews. I don’t like to take people word on things so I purchased anyways. Printer sitting at home in the closet, I’ve been too upset to throw it out.
