After 3 IT people tried to install I just gave up. Since the Drivers would not install properly I couldn’t use but seems like a good little printer for home use.

When I try to print pictures they don’t print correctly and are a skewed I’ve tried troubleshooting and just give up I’ll probably buy a different printer. This shouldn’t be this complicated!

Finally connected when placed 1’ from modem. Other items in all other areas of our home connect easily, even outside of house. Probably should have returned it .

A sure lesson of you get what you pay for. I set it up per directions, it indicated it was receiving wifi. Printed a test spec page. And that's it. Would not do anything else no matter what I tried. Called store for help but got someone in a center that was no help at all. Wasted a lot of time on this machine and just gave up - it's boxed in my garage collecting dust. Will be in the pile when donation centers are opened up again. Very disappointing.

(Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Wireless printer not easy to set up

I tried calling customer service and no one is available to speak due to the virus. It says there should be a cable in case you need to connect it from the printer to the computer and the cord was not included. Can someone please contact me to send it to me.

Trying to connect it is a pain. If your internet or wifi go down, plan to spend a lot of time trying to get it to work again. Never can set up wireless, need an old printer cable to do it, always errors out wireless. You have to download their app to do almost anything. Oddly can never connect to my HP laptop, but better luck with my Lenovo desktop. And you have to change your computer wifis to 2.4 because it won't with with 5. Prints ok when it works. Scanner is bad, edges always black and never an even level scan. Ok if scanning unimportant stuff, but not if you want a nice looking copy of anything. I regret this purchase and will probably have to go buy something other than HP.
