    Excellent For The Price

I purchased this computer (HP 110-314 was on sale for $299) did all the updates from MS and HP, I was amazed how fast this machine installed the updates, I was concerned about the computer being an i3 processor, but after all the migrating of software and settings from my old computer to this, I am very pleased with this machine, Cons: no spare SATA ports on the motherboard, I had to disconnect the DVD drive and connect my old computers HDD to it, then connect back up the DVD when completed transferring files to new HDD. No PCI slots to add new video/sound cards, so this computer isn't for Gamers that need to add a special Video Card The LAN Ethernet connection is only 100MB not 1000MB uninstalled all the games and blotware The Positives: There are 6 USB-2 ports 4 in back 2 in front comes with Wi-Fi and cabled Ethernet (only 100MB Speed) RGB and DVI video adapters Super Quite cooling fans I kinda like the external power supply (sorta like a laptop) there are 2 RAM slots so you can add more, only 1 used on factory install I purchased this computer for my wife, and it was a good investment I wanted to purchase another one but the price went up over $120 over the weekend (6-5-15)

    Great for Beginner Or Student

Great Computer for Student or Beginner. No HDMI. Only have 2 SATA Connection. It only have connection for 1 DVD Rom & 1 Hard drive. There aren't any slot for expendability. This is pretty much like a laptop setting but can not carry around. Good for the price. Due to limited port/slot/connection. This computer may not be hold up for future application need.

This HP Desktop was simple and affordable. As a student, I needed a computer for my everyday needs at home and I have no complaints! It easily connects online and allows me to watch videos and movies aside from allowing me to complete my homework.

    Cheap Desktop PC

I bought this PC as a replacement for a computer that just died on me. I needed something relatively cheap as this was more for my kids and all they really do is surf the net and play flash games, however they do sometimes play any of the LEGO video games that I have purchased. The Best Buy I went to did not have this model on display, however had the next step up ($60 more) on display which i thought the only difference was the extra TB of hard drive space and an AMD processor, I could not have been more wrong. When I got the computer home, I cracked the case to insert my video card from the old PC and there were no expansion slots not even a PCI-EX1 if i wanted to add additional USB ports, in addition to that the power supply is like a laptops, so there is no upgrading the power as well. Basically the only thing you can upgrade is the memory and there is only one slot to do that with. Other than the inability to upgrade this desktop it does everything that my kids want it to do, Play flash games, surf the internet, stream videos, and even streams video games via Steam from my PC. I would not recommend it based on the limited expansion/upgrade options.

This PC is as slow as one from the 1980's!! WHY??

*** The CPU is QUAD-CORE; *** It comes with 8 (EIGHT) gibabytes of memory! *** 1 Terabyte (well, 900+ Gb) of disk!! I don't know how, but between HP and Microsoft's Windog v8, they managed to make what should have been a blazing fast PC run at a pocket calculator's speed! If you're in a store comparing relative speeds, please use a simple CPU benchmark such as: http://www.fossiltoys.com/speed.html

I got this for my Dad. He just wanted an office computer and tahts exactly what this is. Its not a super fast Gaming rig but for the price its great. He uses it for internet and office work. The tower is small so it doesnt take up a lot of space.
