Refurbish Problem

This appeared to be a good machine except the refurbish was not done. We turned on the computer, placed the computer on it's side to get the numbers to register on Windows. As soon as it was placed on it's side, it turned off and would not turn on again. Brought it to the Best Buy Geek Squad and told me to look at open box items as refurbished many time are not refurbished.

sometimes a refurbished item doesn't work out. This was a lovely little laptop at a spectacular price but the screen was upside down - oops!

First off Best Buy is the worst Customer Service based company I have ever dealt with. 5+ WEEKS and 8 calls to process a refund to a gift card. Just an absolute joke dealing with their accounting department and CSR reps. I will not be using the company again, but I had a gift card and was forced to buy or lose the $300.
Bought this computer.... I AM 100% CONVINCED I RECEIVED THE SAME UNIT THE ONLY OTHER PERSON TO REVIEW THIS ITEM GOT. Flat out, it won't even turn on. Charge light flashes 6 times and goes black. Not even a hint of effort to work. Also, all the paperwork say Windows 7 OS, when it lists WIN8.1. Now maybe it does have Win8.1, but I cannot confirm since the unit WON'T TURN ON.
Now here we go with the JOY Systems refurb company Best Buy farms out their refurb work to. They don't even answer the phone during there business hours. MAYBE the 1 day storm is affecting their attendance today, 02/09/17. I was asked to leave a message on their VM, and that didn't even work well Literally, the VM system struggles to even record my message. I have zero faith that I will get a call back.
I have tried so hard to be positive with Best Buy but here it is almost 7 weeks after Xmas and I still do not have any working items from this retailer. Some Xmas gift huh?
