When I received it the charging cable didn't work and I had to bring it to Best buy where they told me that since I bought it from a third party on the best buy website they couldn't help me they did get me a charger though. Also the light on the top of the screen was broken and would not open or shut off. Be careful when you order refurbished you could get lucky or have a pain to deal with.

I thought I hit the Jackpot but, USB port have never work on this laptop

What a waste of money and time. Don't follow the package instructions, instead just return it to Best Buy right away or you'll lose everything when you finally choose to walk away as I did.

Didn't work at all, wouldn't power on. Returned to the store and went elsewhere for a computer

This laptop is very good if you still want Windows 7. Runs very fast!!!

First, let me say I ended up with a pretty nice product. But there are issues. The first thing a buyer should be aware of is the computer is refurbished and provided by a company called Joy Systems -- Not Best Buy. So, if there are problems, you would be working with Joy Systems to resolve. I recommend doing an internet search on Joy Systems reviews to learn more about the company. It appears to me the company has problems with quality control. The first laptop I received had parts falling off -- literally. However, I was prepared to keep it -- if it worked. It didn't. I returned the first laptop to the Joy Systems -- and they were very good about replacing. The second laptop I received was in much better shape -- no parts falling off. It looks "like - new". But alas, it died like the first one. When I contacted the company for the 2nd laptop failure, they had learned their warehouse was sending out the wrong power adapter. They quickly sent me the correct power adapter and the laptop is now working perfectly. So I ended up with a nice laptop, but I suspect I'm one of the lucky ones based on my overall experience. Joy Systems needs to SIGNIFICANTLY tighten up on their QA. Best Buy needs to re-look at how they are doing business for these refurbished laptops.

Bought this computer as a gift, the specs are very inticing but it comes from a called Joy Systems not Best Buy, was very disappointed. The power pack they sent was the wrong voltage so it just drained the battery, the keys on the keyboard are half sideways and look awful, and the directional keys don't even work so starting over in a system restore isn't possible. Returning it to Best Buy tomorrow to get something different that actually works the way it should.

Wish I'd read the reviews first. Here's my advice: When you receive this laptop which won't work, return it to Best Buy immediately (within 15 days). If you follow package instructions and call Joy Systems you lose your ability to return it to Best Buy and you're in for a year of returns ... they'll just keep sending you bad computers and power supplies until you give up like I did. I just lost the complete purchase price of this computer plus the time and aggravation of dealing with this, plus the lost time when I had planned to use this computer. So I haven't had the computer to use, I've wasted time and money dealing with this, plus I've lost my initial investment. Bad choice.
