I bought this laptop for my son that's entering junior high this year. He's a gamer and music lover on top of being a good student. I wanted something that would suit all of his interests. This hits the mark so far. The major problem was, I was sent the wrong power cord. Thankfully his dad had one the correct size lying around.

Purchased the refurbished HP EliteBook laptop in Nov. 2017 and in June 2018, the laptop crashed with a hard drive failure. None of the data was recoverable and it cost several hundred dollars to replace the drive. In my 50+ years in Information Technology, I have not had any issue with my personal hardware, so I would have to recommend not purchasing refurbished equipment because if you have issues with the hardware you end up investing more money than if you had paid full price in the beginning

Nice price. It was in wonderful shape. A little buggy but it serves my needs. Usually. Only drawback was no cd/dvd copy and burn software but that’s more of an OS issue.

The specs looked great on paper but the hardware was from like 10 years ago. Of course since it was a refurb there were many signs of wear in the corners and such, but the weight of it was insane. If someone broke into my house, I could hit them with it and kill the intruder.

The laptop was cheap, with a 2 year warranty. Sales staff were very honest and suggested a newer, better laptop

This a good laptop, it's a refurbished item, I got it for a few money, really worths it despite the camera is not working

A little bulky but great price for refurbished laptop with 8GBs of RAM and Intel Core i5 processor.

Was supposed to have an hdmi port didn't and I'm pretty sure it would've ran faster with windows 7. On top of that I tried to exchange it for one that had the features that were labeled they said because it was refurbished I might end up with one just like it:( then on top of that by the time I was done calling and checking on how I could fix the issue my 15 day return period was up . Not bad for a computer for web surfing or typing other than that useless even out an extra 8gb ram in it and can't run a game that has a 4 GB minimum

Although this is a refurbished laptop, I had expected a better product. The battery only stays charged for about an hour at best. I emailed the address in the paperwork that I was given for any problems. That was about 2 weeks ago and still no response. Would be nice to get a response.

If I could rate, lower I would. This is the second of an already returned hp laptop. This one has been even more trouble. Makes extremely loud noises and now Windows doesn't function. Oh joy, and now dealing with the warranty, the laptop is missing the PlanID. Waste of a purchase, nothing but headaches. I would not recommend purchasing any refurbished laptops from Best Buy.

I had terrible tech issues during the first month when teaching online. I increased my speed, bought an external camera and still wasn’t working well. Took it in to geek squad and they had to update the windows 10 software and now it’s working adequately for teaching. I was disappointed that there wasn’t the notice to update software (it should do it automatically) or that it was updated since it is new to me and the update was last fall. My next one will be back to Apple.

I've been wary of buying refurbished before but this computer was a great deal - fresh and good as new. I'd consider again going this route to save a few bucks and get a lot of features.

Easy and quick setup. Plays games well. It does everything I need it to do. Glad I bought it.

I am not a gamer. I use my laptop for email, Facebook, and Facebook games. If that is weekday you need a laptop for this is a good one. It was a budget friendly, lightweight laptop. I am really enjoying it.

The Hp Elite laptop I bought was very neat and arrived on time. Most importantly, the Windows 10 works so perfectly. The laptop compares well with the newest models, though refurbished. Thanks, Best Buy, you’re doing a great job!!

This is my first experience with a portable wi-fi enabled computer. Some things I get, some things it takes a while to get used what can happen. This HP laptop is a great vehicle to help me make this transition.

I have not run this laptop much as I am still stuck trying to get the Windows 10 loaded. Did not know until it arrive I have to load it, thought it came on it. Code has been tried by me three times an my daughter twice, will not work. Wrote to the company an still waiting to hear back.

Worth every penny. But little bit bulky. other than that its excellent.
