Refurbished is worth the price! I was weary about buying refurbished but my friend reassured me that as long as I had gotten the warrantee it would be OK! I'm glad that I listened to him! Thanks!

Do not get me wrong, it is a very good computer, but it has room for improvement. Touchcreen is very responsive, but they sacrificed resolution, (I also have a Macbook Pro and the screens are light years apart). Another downside is the fact they do not have SD card slot, instead they have a SIM slot, but (at least mine) does not have the drivers, protocols nor the software to properly use a SIM card. For everyday use (MS Office and other corporate software) this is your computer. They come with a dock expansion slot, it is definitely a working computer. Games… light games maybe. watching streaming is good enough, I try also use encoding software for audio and video and no probles whatsoever. Battery, under normal conditions is a bit over average, 5-7 hours, but (at least mine) if you do not use it you long periods of time (5 days or more) gets discharged. Bottom line, you get a bit more bang for you buck.

Good for the price, at least for basic computing, growing the internet and checking emails.

I bought this computer to use for college. During the first week, while in a zoom call, I experienced an unexpected shutdown. I had to take apart the fan to clean it in order for it to stop making noises. However, besides that inconvenience, this computer has been of great assistance thus far.

After purchasing a refurbished laptop with the store credit I was given after an exchange, I received it in the mail over a week before it's expected delivery. Fresh out of the box, it took me two hours to get the speakers and microphone to work. Even then, that wasn't the end of the issues. The keyboard was faulty and wouldn't regaister when I typed. Driver updates, diagnostics, and regular cleaning did nothing. This is the last time I pay for an electronic anything short of brand new. Thankfully I had paid for a TotalTech warranty from Best Buy to cover the repairs...

Bought this but please know it's a refurb. Memory starting failing right away. I had it under the GS protection plan. They had to ship it off for 2 weeks to be "repaired". They concluded a memory module had failed. I was excited when I got an alert that it was finally repaired and on it's way back - only to receive a call from the local Bestbuy that the repair center was actually unable to fix it and they would offer an in-store credit. I could replace the memory myself but the representative couldn't even offer any details why the repair center could not fix it. I've been in IT for over 20 years and have never experienced such as confusing and disappointing Geeksquad experience. So now I'm stuck with a complete loss of my computer and confusing lack of communication in the is entire experience. I will never buy a used computer from BB again.

I bought this laptop for personal use and it has done well to meet my needs - emails, surfing the web, online banking, Online shopping, word documents and basic spreadsheets.
