Overall I am pleased with my purchase. But there were two minor issues that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First it was advertised to have a 256GB solid state drive which is faster and better on the battery but it came with a 700GB hard drive. I did not complain as it is larger but I still would have preferred the 256GB drive it claimed to have.
The second issue is I found out you need to download and install the many drivers from the HP website. Until you do this the touch pad and USB port were both flaky. So be prepared for a couple of nights to get the system set up and stable.

This is an excellent product but there is one thing to be aware of as it states there is a HDMI port. Not HDMI but video out port. Everything else is excellent , fast and works great. LOVE IT!
be aware if you call to complain to customer service it is futile and they are not willing to work with you and try to make it that you dont understand what they are saying.

This laptop is exactly what I was looking for and more. Lightweight, compact, durable case, and backlit keyboard. The combination of an SSD and i5 processor make the machine extremely fast. Very happy with my purchase.

So I've had this computer for a couple weeks. And so far whenever I open my browser a blue screen pops up. I'm very disappointed in Best Buy selling me a faulty computer. I'll be bringing this computer back.

This laptop performs very well in terms of speed and handling bulky programs. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but the weight is well worth the performance. It seems very sturdy and solid, like it will stand up to a lot of ware and tear.

Overall, this computer is really great. It is sleek and looks very professional. I think that this would be a great computer for someone who is looking for a good computer that is not over $500. It is incredibly fast and I love it!!

No HDMI; customer service is a nightmare

The computer is advertised as having HDMI but after buying it online I found it does not. I could go without the dvd drive but not HDMI too. I spent two and a half hours on the phone trying to confirm that it had no HDMI and to find out what they would do. I thought it reasonable for them to send me an adapter, free of charge. I was transferred multiple times , including to Geek Squad three times. The calls were dropped twice on transfers and I had to start over again. I tried chatting with a Geek Squad agent online but he made it clear it had nothing to do with him. One agent told me it was a bad connection, to hang up and he would call me back. He never did. I called again, explained and asked for the part. After long delays I was told I could only send the computer back. I said it was unacceptable; I spent a lot of time deciding which computer to buy and it was a cheap part that I was asking for. No one had any interest whatsoever in resolving this.
