Very nice laptop. I currently have a Lenovo Yoga and a MacBook Pro M1 Max. So I'm comparing this HP laptop to these other 2 laptops. I really like this HP laptop. The trackpad is nice and big and centered (Lenovo isn't). The fan doesn't come on frequently (Lenovo does), the screen is sharp and bright and the i9 processor is fast. I really like using Windows Hello using the camera so no fingerprint and no PIN (Lenovo doesn't offer that feature). This laptop has 2 Thunderbolt ports and I tried them on my dual LG 5K monitors. This laptop will power the first one at 5K resolution but not the second. The NVidia 4060 card is very nice. I use OBS so I'm curious how this video card performs. I haven't tried it yet. I haven't tested the battery much yet but I haven't noticed a problem with the battery life. I really like this laptop. No complaints. I think HP did a great job on this one. I had an HP Spectre laptop in the past and I had zero problems with it and I had it for 2.5 years. I am impressed with HP laptops.

I got this laptop for an advanced spec required for college. I love the laptop. It’s very fast, it can run any AAA game you throw at it and still loads fast. The only issues I’ve had are the fans blow really loudly when you play big games and it gets really hot after playing such games for some time.

Very solid laptop. Beautiful and functional, has been working flawlessly once correctly set up. The screen has a beautiful resolution and is touch screen, besides having a powerful Graphics card and processor. I love it.

Wow!! This thing is a powerhouse compared to my old laptop (above). Even though my old laptop has a gigabit network card, I could only get a max of 80 Mbps (I pay for 300 Mbps through my internet provider) due to the other hardware holding it back. This powerhouse got just over 260 Mbps when I tested it last night after doing all of the updates. While the screen is bigger, the laptop itself is slightly smaller than the x360 due to no 10-key pad (which isn't a big deal, as I will be pairing this with a 27" IPS monitor and my wireless keyboard and mouse). It weighs about the same as the old one, so not difficult for me to carry around if I need to. The screen resolution is amazing compared to my old Envy. I also like that the trackpad doesn't seem to stick or make the cursor jump around like my old Envy. I just got this yesterday, so I may update this review later if I have any issues or other compliments.

Out of the box, I had to do about 2 hours of bios and software updates. Once completed the laptop works well, had to increase the ram since for some reason the background processes require 12 Gb of processing power doing simple productivity tasks. Speakers are adequate, battery life is about 6 hours for me on battery saver mode doing only productivity tasks like browsong and writing papers. Fan kicks on when doing pretty much any task, probably has thermal issues. Very nice screen good for just about any everyday task and non competitive gaming. Overall a solid laptop, a bit heavy but good camera and overall build quality. Definitely scoop if you see it in a good sale.

A great machine! In my opinion, much better choice than a Dell XPS 15 (9530). The aluminium touch from this laptop is a level up, similar to the Apple Makbook Pro. The laptop always works cool. The unique negative point, maybe two points, are the nits ( from the screen that could be more high, despite the touch screen. The other point is the Bios interface that is so oldfashioned. Dell presents a much better and modern Bios interface, with more options to tune up your pc. So, this HP Envy is an excellent choice, with great options to upgrade the RAM (SODIMM DDR5 5200mhz) and SSD storage (two slots available). Both Ram and SSD are made by the South Korea company SK Hynix (Samsung competitor). Also, this HP envy have a better price than the Dell XPS 15.

This Envy laptop model is probably the best bang for your buck as you can get right now within all the series of HP laptops. You don't have to shell out an extra $500 - $800 for the Spectre series either. That, in reality, isn't really any better in terms of performance or functionality. The only thing you're paying extra for is the build quality and aesthetics with the Spectre series, and maybe the 2-in-1 aspect as well but I know the Envy's have 2-in-1 functionality as well in some of their models. So, overall this is an exceptional laptop that can handle nearly any task except maybe extensive gaming. For I.T. professionals like myself, this laptop works perfectly, you can utilize programming software, visualization tools, and database management systems with ease. The only issue I have had is with some lagging or glitching with the touchpad cursor, but I can overlook that easily. This is the best laptop I have used and owned. Definitely worth the money.

this is an amazing laptop. great performance. bought for editing. the i9 is fast and powerful. I added two sticks of 32 gb ram. so so smooth with the rtx4060 with plenty of storage on the 1tb ssd.

I do not consider myself a dedicated gamer. I primarily utilize this laptop for remote work and occasional gaming. I find it capable of simultaneously connecting to a 50" 4K TV and running four browser windows with a total of eight tabs open while I work, all while gaming on the laptop's own screen. Considering its performance and affordability, I believe this laptop offers excellent value. While it is worth noting that the plastic keys may feel somewhat inexpensive, I do not find this to be a significant concern as I rely on an external keyboard for my work. Overall, this laptop effectively fulfills its intended purpose, and I am quite pleased with its performance.

I was dead set on a Mac because I thought it was going to be so great. Well after I had three people talk me out of it, I took the time to LEARN what I was actually buying. I thought “Mac” it’s gonna be great and I was going for the pretty yellow one. A few people gave me their insight and I listened! I bought this HP Envy Laptop and I AM IN LOVE! It’s suuupppeerrr fast! I spent about three hours just searching the web, because I finally could. It has an i9 in it and that’s amazing! The only thing is, it’s a little heavy. It was well worth the money! So proud of this purchase!!! I give 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s smooth and really high performance. However, due its high end features in a laptop body, it does heat up quickly when running heavy apps/softwares. It’s also heavy but I love it.

I must say the price I paid was a great value for the performance level of this laptop. The display is crisp and bright. The graphics card allows me to play and the processor is ready to work. The keyboard is not fantastic, but still useable. Wifi is solid, but you must use a USB adapter for a wired/ethernet connection. My real gripe is with the "Excellent" rating for the open-box I bought. There are scratches and swirls on the lid and little "dents" along the lip that you can feel when you pick up the laptop. I think the previous owner tried to pry the bottom off - maybe they returned it because it wouldn't open. Definitely not "Excellent" with those cosmetic flaws.

Good general use pc choice to stay upgraded. I wanted a sufficient amount of RAM to keep up with newer software demands and provide more power using the i9 chipset. Very satisfied with new Windows 11 OS. Bought a cd drive to allow traditional accesses to investments made previously.

I love the product except that I started experiencing overheating just 2 weeks after the purchase. And the noise from the fan while trying to cool down the heat is annoying and distracting. I called the support office about it and have taken it back to Best Buy office / Geek Squad. The battery also run down fast perhaps because of the heat. The battery get full fast within 30 minutes and run down very fast. As much as I love the product, the overheating and battery issues made me to give the product 4 star.

I use this laptop for digital painting and animation, overall it works like a charm. i so far haven’t come across any problems, the display is great, and battery life is wonderful compared to my old dell laptop and alienware gaming laptop, it’s able to last me a day of work. The fan turns on after a while but it’s not anything too loud, the computer doesn’t run hot either. And charging takes less than 2 hours. Overall this computer has been a good replacement for my old laptop.
