Great Laptop. Great Gaming.

Has worked for me so far. I upgraded the ram to 16gb but it would have been fine without it. I run games on med/high graphics. Only downside is that max resolution is 1600x900 because I'm used to a 1920x1080 on the desktop. Other than that, it is an awesome buy for the price. This one has the better processor and the nvidia card instead of the intel graphics that another similar model had.

Won't find better unless you spend almost another grand. I like the 17 inch display, because I'm getting old and it's easier on my eyes. HP has never done badly in the past 20 years - others have . YMMV.

HP Fan from now on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not usually an HP person and I was very wary about this laptop because of the fact that there are other top of the line laptops out there but this laptop is bomb! The graphics are smart and so is the loading speeds. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Laptop has crashed 4 times in 1 year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My HP Envy Laptop has been total wiped clean back to manufactures settings 4 times and they have replaced the Mother board twice! I can't store anything exclusively on my laptop because I am waiting for it to crash again. HP will not replace it they have attempted to fix it 4 times and still won't replace. I have had the computer for 1 year and the problems started right after I received the laptop. There fix is now I have been assigned a case manager so when I have a problem I have a direct number to call instead of spending hours on the phone. I am very disappointed buying a HP laptop was a big mistake!!!!!!!
