We bought this for my wife and she likes it, its super fast. Has lots of ram and has a lot of memory. Its a touch screen and goes well with Windows 10 once you d/l and install it. The only con so far is the touch pad is very sensitive but overall not that big of a con.

We picked up this laptop for our son who is studying bioengineering and needed a powerful laptop for the engineering computer modeling programs he needs to run. This laptop has plenty of speed and memory to crunch through the work. It also has a lot of storage for pictures, etc. Overall a great laptop.

Chose this computer for my daughter because of the screen size and 1 TB hard drive. The first laptop we purchased had some hardware issues and Best Buy replaced it with a new one right away. My daughter is very happy with the Envy and loves the graphics, screen size and capabilities of the device.

I bought this computer after looking into the specs for the price point. Plenty of storage and I like the fact that it came with a good video card just in case I want to do a little online gaming. Takes a little long to load initially. Otherwise I would have givin it 5 stars.

This laptop packs a lot of punch for this price range. Huge amounts of RAM, great HDD size, and a decent graphics card will service most users needs nicely and for a long time. The touch screen is very handy with Windows 8.1, and will also be a nice addition even when you upgrade to Windows 10. I'd probably go a step up for the better graphics card if you're looking for a gaming machine, but for everything else this has it! Also, while this has an i7 processor, this particular processor is geared more towards lower power consumption (longer battery life) than huge horsepower.

This laptop has everything one needs on the go. Great memory and speed, with a brillent color screen. From a touch screen to the built in DVD-CD drive you are ready to handle any task. Lastly great price.

This laptop is an excellent buy. It has many uses. The system is fast and the graphics are amazing! I have always used HP and they have outdone themselves. The laptop is worth every penny.

This computer is very nice to use. The keyboard is nicely spaced and having the separate number pad is a bonus. The backlight feature is handy for night use without bothering other people with excessive lighting. I think the only thing i would change, and did it myself, is having a SSD instead of a HDD. The boot up time for windows 8.1 and windows ten was about 2-3 mins. With the SSD installed its 24 seconds. The speakers are crisp and clear, though not as loud as beats. The screen is perfect. Not overly bright but very vibrant and clear. The large 17 inch screen is great for multitasking or videos and general browsing. Overall i would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a great computer.

Had an older (refurbished) model (Envy 17t) that got caught in a loop when upgrading to Windows 10. It was time to replace it anyway. The new 5th. generation i7 processor is amazing and runs a lot cooler that my old machine. The touch-screen is extremely brilliant and clear. The only thing I miss is the fingerprint reader. Bang & Olufsen speakers work quite well. I work with a lot of photo's and the new processor works so much faster than the old one. Very happy with this purchase.

I had this laptop for about a month, everything works great. I had the geek squad set it up and down load and install some extra software. It is very fast and we like the touch screen as well.

I knew when I bought this computer that it was more memory than was probably needed for a home computer, but I don't regret buying the higher memory product. It's an excellent computer and is working very well. I consider myself average with regard to computer technology and was worried I might have trouble setting it up, but in this day of everything being wireless the computer did all the work for me and everything went smoothly. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

This is a great laptop especially if you need a graphics card for design work. I love the keyboard, and the screen is a nice size. Very happy with my purchase.

This is my third HP product and only purchased this one after another one, which lasted for over ten years, finally failed due to a bad external power supply. Typical HP product with good build quality. Screen size is very good so it might not be the best choice for people who really need a portable laptop. I use mine almost exclusively at home so the little extra size are not a problem. This model has a lot of really nice features and balances out with a good price.

The laptop is a solid preformer with good speed and plenty of storage. Screen quality and sound are very good.

Came to BB looking for a laptop for my student to use. After looking around and comparing features we decided on this one being the best option and price.

First off, I had to return two of these before getting one that worked. The Best Buy staff was great in the return processes. I love the 17" HD touchscreen, but the touchpad leaves something to be desired. It's very sensitive, and has no separate buttons. Thus, I frequently zoom in and out when I'm trying to do another action.

I'm not a serious gamer or graphics artist but rather a jack-of-all-trades kind of user, so I needed a laptop that could do a bit of everything. After some research and seeing the layout of the keyboard and size of the screen at my local Best Buy, I decided that this was the laptop for me. So far, after two weeks, I can see that my decision was correct. From photo editing to word processing and everything internet, this machine delivers with speed and style. It will be awhile before I discover all of its abilities.

This is the fastest PC I have ever had easy maneuverability I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for speed memory and more

We wanted a laptop with a large enough screen to be able to work on spreadsheets etc and also large enough to be able to enjoy Netflix shows and other media. This definitely falls into that category! It has a good graphics card too! The only downer is that it is slow to boot up but that is because we are used to our old HP Envy that had flash memory boot drive.

I love the bigger screen and the fact that it is a touch screen too.
