I got an amazing deal on this computer- so good I ordered another one for my office the next day! I use this computer for work as well as personal. It runs Stata just fine and puts up with my habit of having way too many windows open at a time fairly well. Excel, especially, has a habit of suddenly closing down if I have too many windows open- but to be fair, that could be a microsoft 365 rather than the computer. This is replacing a 13in screen but at the same weight- so I like having the extra screen space with the same portability. I love that it has hmdi as well as 2 USB and 2 USB C, as I always had to carry an hmdi adapter with my last 2 in 1. I have mostly been using it with an external monitor that gets power from the computer- so I can't comment accurately on battery life.

Use it for school, works very well. I haven’t had a problem since I bought it a year ago

I got this laptop for my daughter and she loves it. It provides her the ability to work from home when she has online homework. The touch screen works great and comes with enough memory to handle her homework and school needs. Great laptop for the price

Picked one of these guys up for my fiancé, since she needed a new one to finish school. So far performance has been great. She left it on in sleep mode for about 4 days and the battery was still 89% when she next opened it. She has also discovered she can play some newer games at good settings (RE2 Remake) and she has had no complaints with it so far. Good product

I like this laptop a lot. it is touch screen and it is super quick to load everything. the only issue i’ve had with it is that it gets hot very quickly. i recently had to take it to best buy because a message popped up on my screen saying the cooling fan wasn’t working properly. it wasn’t broken i guess there was just dust inside of it. but other than that, laptop is good. i would only use it for school NO gaming.

This is My first every own laptop that I brought with my own money, it is the best purchase I have ever made...the touch screen is very very responsive and even the keypad is so smooth... laptop has a lot of features and is very easy to use

Very good upgrade from my previous model laptop, love the two in one feature. Good pricing for 16gb, wish there was a terabyte of storage but at this price point it is a good package.

Good, fast, and affordable, what else can you ask for. My wife is going back to school and along with a pad this will be enough to allow her all she needs (books are ebooks, hence the pad). Also allows her a small enough laptop for travel and large enough screen size. School and home use needs met.

I was trying to find a laptop that would help me with with school work and this is the perfect one. It works great, Its fast, and has a great screen and all the features are also great. I would certainly recommend this laptop.

I love the laptop for on the go. I go between home and nursing school and it keeps up with my activity at both locations. The only reason I get it a 4 was the sound quality. Its okay for background music to study, but watching a show or a lecture without earplugs is difficult.

The 8640U is basically a 7640U with AI features. But for the price, I couldn't find any other new laptops with 16GB of memory. Not a fan of the Copilot key even if the software itself is useful. Build quality feels good, since it's a 360 degree hinge, I doubt there will be problems like with other HP laptops. Screen doesn't get bright enough outdoors, but it's good enough for consuming media and light gaming. The battery life is great. Light use is around 10 hours with lots of standby time. Could last for 2 days if used carefully enough.

One of the best HP laptop I have ever had the pleasure of using. The metal type case tends to be protective, making it more durable. The processor works like a dream and to me is a luxury extension for my personal and working agenda's. I love the touch screen and how the laptop can fold into a tablet

Lightweight. Easy to carry around for college courses. Have only used a few times as classes have not started yet. Screen is clear and consise, built in mouse works great. So far definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller size and weight computer.
