I was on the fence about buying this laptop. It was an emergency as I was left without a computer powerful enough for editing while visiting home. It ended up being more powerful than my PC at home! Its thin and light but runs so well. The battery life is exceptional. My only possible complaint is that it is hard to open as there isn't much to grip with your thumb so I have to awkwardly use my fingers. But there is no buyer's remorse or anything!

This is a very good mid-level laptop in all respects. The CPU, RAM, SSD drive and touch screen, back- lite keyboard, along with a good display, sound, plus it is light in weight. All of these features are hard to find in a better price range for a laptop

All in all — the HP Envy 2-in-1 14″ with 2K touchscreen delivers a strong balance of performance, build quality, portability, and flexibility. For what I paid (and my usage scenario: coding, general work, browsing, light creative tasks), I consider it a very good purchase among mainstream laptops. If you want a reliable work-horse and don’t need high-end GPU power, I’d definitely recommend it.

The laptop has been fantastic. We got it so she could take notes at parent-teacher meetings at our kids school. It seems like it'd be a nice starting gaming laptop if she wanted, but for what we use it for, it's been fantastic. It's fast. Charges quickly. Nice long battery life. The speakers could stand to be a little louder but not too bad. Being able to flip the screen around for some old school point and click games is perfect.

Upon retiring, I wanted a relatively small light laptop after years of lugging around a big 17" one for technical work. I think the entire laptop set up is lighter than just the power adaptor for my work computer. I don't do extensive computations and graphics now, so was looking for something that could easily run Microsoft Office applications but didn't have to do much more than that. This one has fit the bill perfectly for around the house and travel. It fits easily into a personal item size backpacks for plane travel and has survived several months of travel inside a simple padded sleeve and a laptop backpack. I will leave it to others to judge its performance for gaming, video editing, etc. There was a good sale on, so the price was good for something with a mid-range processor, decent RAM and SSD capacity. The display quality is good for general use.

As much as I don't like HP, this was a great laptop. It did everything I expected it to do, and at a great level. I was worried about the speaker level since, unlike the 16", it's not a the top of the laptop, but it was reasonably loud and clear. I didn't expect to use the folding tablet feature as much as i did, but with how good the screen looked and felt, I could fold my laptop in half and use the touchscreen on that perfectly. It also worked great! with the pen I bought - I got an MPP 2.0 certified pen off Amazon for about $20, and it worked just fine, looked great for taking notes. The processor was also plenty fast, and the RAM seemed fine. Unfortunately, there was only 1, M.2 slot so I couldn't add a second SSD. 512 GB is just too low to ship a modern day laptop with, in my opinion.

An amazing laptop that can run games, stream and do other tasks at great speeds. The screen quality is great for Full HD. Battery life is very reliable can go 12 hours continuous usage off a full charge. Operates and runs things fast and smooth. Overall 8.5/10 laptop, just wish it includes an SD card reader port on it.

Very good. Very simple to use. Only gave it 4 stores because it keeps requiring me to shut off the laptop to log in. I plan on taking it to geek squad for them to figure. Hopefully nothing major. Other than that, if you’re looking for something with no crazy graphics but good speed and good size(not too big or small) this is it!

Powerful and portable. Battery life is outstanding, runs really fast, ms co pilot is really cool also. Touch screen is nice if you want to use it as a tablet. The backlit keyboard is also fantastic. If you’re looking for a powerful portable machine and a great price this thing is a great deal.

Great alternative to the pricey macbook air for college students. Battery life is excellent, performance is fast. Would've been much better with 1tb of storage, but external SSD are always an available option. Definitely not for hardcore gamers, but runs games like Endless Zone Zero okay.

I bought this PC to replace my old HP. I use the PC for personal use (no gaming). The battery life is good and I like the compact size. Although it is a 2 in 1, I primarily use it as a PC. The backlit keyboard is a nice bonus. It's everything I needed and was a great price.

I bought this laptop for my son, who will be entering university in Business. While we normally use only Apple products, he needed a PC. The Best Buy employee was so knowledgeable and friendly. They directed us to this laptop. We could not be more thrilled. It is quick, intuitive for someone used to Apple computers, and surprisingly seamless to transition into. It has everything he needs for productivity, and the performance has exceeded our expectations.

I got this for 550. For that price, Here are the reviews. Pros: good build, good keyboard layout, good size track pad, Touch screen, you can use it as a tablet, Looks very good, 16gb ram Cons: Gets a little hot, Screen isn't high resolution (You can't get good screen for this price point), You can't open it with one hand ( If that matters to you, I don't think any 360 convertible laptop can be open with one hand. I use Linux on this laptop and some key doesn't work like the screen brightness and sound. I don't know if its the laptop or the operating system. ( In windows everything works)
