Customers are saying

Many appreciate the lightweight design and ease of use, along with the ample storage and great price. While some users noted the laptop can get warm during extended use and the fan can be noticeable at times, the positive feedback significantly outweighs the negative. The sleek design and overall user experience are also frequently highlighted.

Loving it so far! It's great at performance and super fast with AMD Ryzen 7, decent enough battery life. Windows 11 running smoothly with copilot.

This Laptop is better than I expected. It is fast. It is a replacement for hp elitebook as I will return it to the University soon. Screen is 14 inches, but it looks larger than that. 1 TB storage is more than necessary. It is good for professional and basic use.

Great little laptop. Got this for my sister for nursing school. Does everything she needs it to and more. She really likes that it has a backlit keyboard for those long study nights. Being a touch screen, it allows her to easily handwrite notes on it. Battery life easily gets around 10 hours per full charge. Used everyday for multiple hours.

Another in a long history of HP products that we have purchased. Very happy with performance. Fast speed for internet surfing. Went with 14" to make it more manageable as a laptop. Quality of display and overall operation means we don't even miss the 16" we had previously.

Love this Laptop!! I have always had HP until 3 years ago, I ended up buying a different brand and am so sorry for that decision, I had issues that weren't worth repairing. So I bought this HP and just love it. Love the functions and the clarity, so happy with this purchase!!

This is a great computer. Not too big but big enough. Not too heavy and easy to use. Favorite feature is the touchscreen. As I get older, it is harder to use the mouse but now I can just tap the screen. I didn’t buy it with this in mind but it has been super helpful!

I love this computer. i was debating on which computer should I get since I edit pictures, this computer is so good, really light, looks beautiful, I like that you can use it only with the touch screen. It is small but a really good size, great quality with the colors and the processor that has is amazing. Everything I wanted!!!! Would recommend 100%

Great Performance, Smooth 2-in-1 Experience I’ve been using the HP Envy 2-in-1 14” with the Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for a while, and it has honestly been one of the best laptops I’ve owned. The performance is super smooth — multitasking, programming, browsing, and even light editing all run without any lag. The Ryzen 7 handles everything effortlessly. The 2K touchscreen is crisp and bright, and switching between laptop and tablet mode is seamless. It feels premium, especially for the price point. The keyboard and trackpad are comfortable, and the overall build quality feels sturdy but lightweight enough to carry around every day. Battery life was also impressive for my usage — I could easily get through classes and daily work without needing to constantly look for a charger. It’s disappointing that this model is no longer available because it delivered great specs and value for the money. If it ever comes back in stock, it’s definitely worth picking up.

I love this laptop. My job purchased this model and I loved it, so I purchased one for personal use. I love the fact that it can double as a tablet. It has enough power. I don't have any lag in processing. Sound is good. Lots of storage.

The off the shelf model has a better IPS screen than the Lenovos with ~65% sRGB but it still doesn't hold a candle to the OLEDs or 100% sRGB IPS offerings. The Envy lineup has significantly better port selection than the Spectre x360s but no USB 4. Worth noting the units from BestBuy do not include a pen, so you can add another $50-120 for the pen you want. The keyboard feels very nice, good amount of force required for breakover and I'm enjoying typing on this model more than the Lenovos. The Envy with the 8840HS seems a bit power hungry and will require some power state tweaking. Without changing any power settings I got about 7 hours of use with the screen at 30% brightness. Ultimately I enjoy using this Envy more than the comparable Lenovo Yoga.

HPs are (especially Envy and above) usually elegant and this one's no exception. Although a touch of extra details would've made this version a legend. My unit kind of wobbles on a flat surface due the the bottom rubber (the rear one, and the panel as well) not made flat enough, for some reason. Starting with the CPU, for a general day-to-day usage, what else one can ask for - Ryzen 7 8000 is a beast as expected and surprisingly efficient - I heard the fan only a couple of times since I bought this laptop. But it gets warm on things like video calls easily, which makes a case for the Ryzen 5, unless you really need the extra power! 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD are simply standard stuff tbh. Keyboard is nice and probably the best part is it doesn't attract oil like MacBooks - looks fresh every time! Touchpad is good enough for an occasional mouse-less use too. The only major downside, as far as I'm concerned, would be the display. It's not a bad screen by any means, but switching from a MacBook Air, it looks painfully subpar - mainly the resolution and the brightness. Also when it displays dark images, the top two corners are kind of brighter (weird, I know), which makes the panel look inconsistent. Battery life is solid, nothing more. The speaker is solid as well, although when listening to music on a headphone, the bass is shockingly weak - very disappointing! Tested it against HP Pavilion Aero 13 from 2022 with an exact same setup and the latter was miles better. A fingerprint sensor would've been awesome as Windows Hello is still not 100%. Built quality and weight are on point.
