So far it is really getting the job done! I still haven't pushed it, but I was watching pricing on laptops for several months, and this is the best deal by far.

I personally like the way the keyboard looks good with the silver color from the looks of it. As for using the laptop, I haven't had many issues at all, the only note that it is sometimes slow when connecting to Wi-Fi, to which I found the solution is just a quick restart.

This laptop with 16Gb, AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS and 1TB SSD was beyond the immediate need. It was on sale ($599) at Best Buy and will support anticipated resource needs. I still insist on an HDMI port.

It has been a while since I have not owned one as I use my ipad and desktop. I am so elated at the fingerprint id. It’s also light and just the right size. I also love the hdmi connector, I can connect my TV! Love, love it!

Totally worth it

The AMD cpu/gpu combo is much much better than the Intel-based Envy counterpart. Seriously, its a big difference in performance which translates to usefulness and longevity. The touchscreen is better than adequate, its solid. Personally i find the keyboard very nice to type on, its one of my favorites actually. If also connecting to a monitor, you will not be disappointed with this laptop purchase.
