Customers commend the Envy 2-in-1 laptop's overall performance, touchscreen functionality, and excellent battery life. Many appreciate its ease of use, large screen size, and reasonable price point, along with its lightweight design. However, some users note that the speakers could be improved and that the RAM might be insufficient for demanding tasks. The positive feedback significantly outweighs the negative comments regarding specific features.

Traded in my MacBook Pro since the battery was losing more and more power, and it was only 4 years old. Not impressed with the quality of Apple lately. Their products are not made as well as they used to be, and they just leach the money out of your pockets. Not impressed at all! They gave me $200 credit for the computer trade in and purchased this computer towards it. So far it works well, love the touch screen! However, it is very "touchy" with the mouse and opens up tabs and pages I don't intend to open. I think I will just have to get used to that, a new device. Has all the tools I need, and will take time going from a Mac to a HP with the transitions of different application names. Again, will just take time. Good computer so far for the price! Bought it on sale at $550. Great, beautiful looking device that is very economical! I don't think you'll regret purchasing it!

I’ve been using this computer since the end of December, and it’s been a fantastic investment, especially for college. It handles all my academic tasks smoothly—whether I’m taking notes, writing papers, doing research, or participating in online classes. The performance is reliable and consistent, and I haven’t had any many major issues however I do find it lag or shutdowns on its own.
Battery life is solid, which is a big plus when I’m moving between classes or working in different spots on campus. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the display is clear and easy on the eyes, even after hours of use. I also love that it is touch screen
I also use it occasionally for entertainment—streaming shows, watching videos, and light gaming—and it handles that just fine. It’s not a high-end gaming rig, but for casual use, it’s more than enough.
Overall, I’m really happy with this computer. It’s dependable, portable, and has everything I need as a college student with a bit of downtime here and there.

I bought this machine for my wife while it was on sale last month. It's a great value with the AMD chipset capable for the light gaming she does, and compares well against my (aged) laptop with a GTX1060m in it. While none of the individual elements are top-of-class, no corners were cut in a ways that make the unit feel cheap or ineffective. The screen looks great, is bright enough for normal use, with a great ratio of screen to bezel. 8GB of RAM is a little light, enough for our uses. Similar story for the SSD. Over all, the unit feels snappy, is comfortable to type on, the large track pad feels great. I also appreciate that it is powered via USBC (with a nice braided cable, 65W) and has USBA on both the left and right side, and it *still* has a classic headphone/mic combo jack.
It punches above it's weight, I'm happy even with the new generation of chips inbound.

I bought this laptop for my son for personal use and gaming, and it has been a prime choice. The 16-inch touchscreen is vibrant and speed responsive, making it easy to switch between laptop and tablet modes. The AMD Ryzen 5 processor handles everyday tasks and casual gaming smoothly, with great multitasking performance.
The build quality is solid, and the keyboard is comfortable for typing. Battery life is pretty good depending on usage. Overall, it’s a fantastic laptop for both work and entertainment, offering great value for the price.

One of the best laptops I have ever owned. It's super light and portable so I can bring it where ever I go. The processing system is super sharp so I have never personally experienced any type of lagging doing anything. And the graphics card shows no issues running any game I have played. The only slight downside I have seen so far is the battery life. However, that usually happens if I am doing a D&D game session that runs a bit long. It is awesome though that instead of needing a special charger, it takes a C-type plug in. So rather than being forced to carry around a charger, in a pinch I can plug it in virtually anywhere. The laptop is super user-friendly and takes no time at all to get used too. I wish that it would have came with a stylus for the touch screen, but, its not hard to buy one. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend this for anyone in need of a laptop.

Perfect laptop for my daughter compared to her old Chromebook. Enough speed and power for school work. The touch screen allows more detailed work along with digital art which is her passion. Very sturdy case design. Was cautious about only 8gb of RAM, but so far its been doing the job just fine.

Awesome laptop, touchscreen and folds back to turn into a tablet. I'm used to the surface go tablet/laptop, so when this laptop is folded, there's really no way to turn it back on from sleep mode without flipping the keyboard around. The surface go had a power button on the edge of the screen, and tapping the screen on this laptop doesn't turn it on.
Either than that little inconvenience, it's still a really nice and sleek laptop. There's many inputs for usb connections, two usb-c inputs, and the screen is huge!

Overall it has been a good little machine. Works as it should, and the large high res touch screen is great for histology labs for school (though color accuracy is not the best). As a current DVM student, it allows me to hand write notes on lectures that are extremely fast paced. Battery life is excellent, with it routinely getting 10 hours of use out of a full charge.
The only issue (and why it is not a 5 star review) is that my unit had a motherboard defect, that bricked the system after two months. With the one year warranty that comes included with the laptop though, it was as simple as contacting customer support, sending the unit in, and getting the necessary parts replaced. I now have it back and works flawlessly.

I have this HP Envy in an older Ryzen 5, and it still works great, but the CPU is too old for Windows 11. This one is way better because of the screen resolution, larger screen, and the battery isn't junk like in the old one. It works great with no lag, and multiple tabs don't bother it, either. The mouse pad works as it should, keys are responsive, and not very noisy.

I really love the ease of use and speed of this laptop. That it can be used with touch and pen is a plus! The size is smaller than my last and I thought that would be an issue, but it wasn't. It feels lighter and the screen produces such beautiful images. The only thing I miss is the 10 key on the right.

I’ve been using the HP Envy 2-in-1 16” Touch-Screen Laptop for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs. The AMD Ryzen 5 and 8GB of RAM handle everything I need for daily tasks, whether it’s browsing, streaming, or working on documents. The 2K display looks super crisp, and the touch screen is really responsive, which makes using it in tablet mode feel smooth and natural. I also like how fast it boots up and loads thanks to the 512GB SSD. Plus, the Meteor Silver design gives it a clean, premium look. Overall, it’s been a solid and reliable laptop for my needs.

Got this laptop about a month ago and all I can say is that it was worth the money and 360 feature is easy to use and the keyboard is just the right size for me to do my writing. If you need a good work laptop this one is great for that it’s also great for any drawing with how it folds. Battery life is great and the style and color just looks amazing to me. The only thing I will note about this laptop is that it doesn’t come with the HP stylus which is disappointing but other than that the display is good and speed of the computer is good as well
