I really wanted to like HP again. For what my parents wanted...big screen, something modestly zippy and modern, this seemed to be a good deal. I noticed the reviews showed much dislike to the keyboard. At the store, we asked the sales guy about it and played with the system for a 1/2 hour. It seemed fine to my parents and they enjoyed the touchscreen as well. Got it home and it was extremely slow to get Windows 10 loaded, configured and updated. Gone are the days you unbox the PC, admire the shiny box and jump into action. 45 minutes later, we were still listening to that awful hard drive grind away at updates. Here's the two things that stink about this computer.... 1) Very very very very slow hard drive. If you have any doubts, add in 20 more 'very" comments. It looks like an upgrade to a Samsung SSD is in the works. 2) Windows 10, which I am still trying to like, is loaded with bloat. Not to mention updates. Which managed to kill the Start button (who uses that, right?). Be sure to Google up some Windows 10 optimizations, such as killing Cortanna and disabling many of the unnecessary things that load at start up. I'm hopeful the SSD upgrade and doubling the RAM smooths things out. I really should've caught the 5400 rpm hard drive in the specs and moved on to another system. The staff at Best Buy were great when we visited, for what its worth.

Nice Computer, kind of quirky. After all the updates, still have problems loading some pages. Could be Windows 10 or something from HP. From the reviews I've read, I should have a better working computer.
