two months old and monitor stops working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After two months of use the monitor stopped working and has been replaced by a white screen. 20 minute wait to get through to HP, 4 days later I'm still waiting for a box to send back to HP, it will be in their facility for up to 10 days so it's looking like I won't have a computer for a while. I also agree with other reviews that the mouse does not work very well. Sometimes I use the touchscreen just because the mouse is so bad.

HP envy 24 all in one

HP sent second set, (after 5 hours on chat that involved removing the back of the computer) - same results. I purchased a logitech combination ($50) which immediately fixed the problem. I notice other reviews complaining about similar issue...should have listened. nice computer supported by the wrong, lowest cost, ancillary equipment. disappointing

It has no system issues that I can see, and it is very fast. I love this computer and will never want another as long as this one works!!!

Not even brightness set up worked!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 days and so far over 2 hours of troubleshooting with HP rep. who tried to fix this problem, wasn't able to after many restarts, updates, install and uninstall... Its just a simple brightness for Gods sake!!! Calendar also would not sink with google calendar...since not even pro couldn't figure it out, I'm not wasting more time with it, taking it back.

Worst Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this HP 24 N014 a couple of years back : this is a long overdue review : pretty frustrating: keyboard lags : characters dropped while typing or some characters repeats. Looks like wireless drivers / network interfaces also have issues. Keeps dropping off WiFi. Ran into blank screen / white screen issues several time : appeared to be stable (other than random keyboard issues) but again is stuck after login screen. Black screen. Shows mouse pointer. And nothing else. Very frustrating. Unpredictable products. Beautiful design , but horrible performance. Steer away. Junk

Bad optical drive

It came with an optical DVD drive that would only read some of the standard DVDs from Netflix. An inexpensive external drive read them all. Hewitt Packard wanted to charge me to “fix” their drive that should have originally come with the software to read common DVDs.
