ive set up my printer and it prints out more copies than i want. i wonder if im doing something wrong or is it defective.

half of the time my printer doesnt feed the paper but when it does pictures are good quality

This printer is ok if you need a printer for occasional printing. If you print a lot i would invest in a better printer.

This compact printer is nice but the print function is not easy to use. I bought it as a scanner and printer. There is a scan button but no print button. I was not able to print from my laptop. I found the menu very difficult to navigate. It would have been so much easier if there had been a "print" icon or button.

better buy the protection package and buy extra ink

Originally bought this as a replacement. Good printer, but goes through ink too quickly.

It is a good printer but the action from clicking to print then the printer actually start printing is rather slow.

I bought this printer when we moved to get something fast and cheap setup to print. I would say it's a subpar printer. It is very slow, it continuously loses connection with my wifi (I have to turn it off and on to get it to connect to my wifi everything I print), and it uses a ton of ink (I had to change the cartridges in less than a month of normal printing).

The printer has a difficult time finding our wi-fi at home. So much that the printer is in our living room, with the router. Sometimes prints a page or two with 'lines' vertical across (it appears like the printer is skipping some lines. Stripe like.) Pretty happy with it but would probably purchase a different one if I could do it over.

after set up it printed one time and then quit, won't print from network or if hooked into laptop

I am one of the least "tech savvy" people I know, & I was able to set this up with wireless access & print a letter from my lap top (on Christmas night, even!) in less than 15-20 minutes. The picture instructions were a little different but easy to follow, and the on screen instructions on the printer (as well as those online) walked me through the entire thing step by step. I have printed several pages since then, as well as copied a few things and the unit has worked just fine. The ink usage appears to be low so far, which is another plus. I haven't scanned to my computer yet or used the printer with a smart phone, etc., but have no doubt that will go smoothly too. Again, the screen on the unit walks you through things easily. I think the time to print a page, noise level, etc. are all within reason, but then I bought this for personal use & not "heavy duty" printing. It suits my needs, & the price was a good deal. There is online support with admin. settings you can modify, ink consumption/status notices, & various "troubleshooting/instruction" postings that help answer questions that may arise. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an all-in-one (who doesn't need a fax, this model does not include one) that is reasonably priced & very easy to set up & use.

No recommended for preloaded windows 10 computer. Will not install printer driver properly

The paper feed does not function on this printer. I will be returning this printer.

this printer does a good job of performing tasks well

I bought this printer for my daughter who is in college. She uses it mainly to print her school papers. It printed fine the first couple of times she used it and then the paper started jamming, so she had to feed the paper in one piece at a time so that wouldn't happen and that worked for a few times and then it started jamming in farther back so that wouldn't even work. She tried returning it to Best Buy but they wouldn't take it back because it had been over two weeks since it was purchased. It didn't even last a week.

Efficient for its purpose of purchase, lightweight

The laptop is lightweight and comfortable to use. The keyboard touch is comfortable.

Can't get it to print, even after downloading the CD. Finally "printed" a document, but only got occasional marks and lines on 1 out of 4 pages. You could tell that it was the intended document, but this was the 2nd document ever printed from the machine...it should not have been low on ink. I tried printing it both wirelessly and connected to the computer. Neither worked. It is a 40 minute drive for me to return it and I am tired after working all day, so I haven't taken it back yet. Never again...

takes a long time warming up and a long time receiving information to print

I usually buy electronics from best buy. I use Geek Squad and like my printer.
