The printing itself was great, installation was easy as well. However wireless connection started to lose printer frequently. Sometimes at the middle of the document printing, do it never could print out one pdf entirely. Only when using USB it worked. Had to return one of such and then replace the second with another brand.

I liked the price and the size. Unfortunately the print quality was poor.

This printer was easy to set up and I love that I can print from my phone and from anywhere in the house. It doesn't take up much space which is awesome.

I bought this because i needed it for work and also school. This product is easy to use and very compact for small places. I love this printer, scanner, and copier. The ink i use is good and lasts, for me, a while so i usually by 3-4 to last me a while. The paper i use is good and lasts me a while like a couple of months. I usually by a 3-4 packs to last me a year maybe a year and a half almost 2 years. All of these products are great to use for a student to print stuff for school but also for work.

The overall quality is fair. Its is not easy to set up.

Cartriges 2small. Black ink never worked! Glitches

Bought this to replace my Epsom printer. So far I have printed and scanned with it, so it is already a step above my last printer. Very small and basic, and easy to set up which is exactly what I was looking for. I thought about giving 4 stars as the Best Buy rep did tell me that this printer came with a PC cable, which it did not. I view this as a store/employee error though not a HP error. If you are looking for inexpensive and simple, then this is the printer for you.

This printer is an excellent choice for home (light duty) use. The print quality is excellent for both black and white and color printing, up to and including color photographs on photographic paper. It's easy to set up and operate as well. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that the colored ink (cyan, magenta and yellow) all come in one cartridge, so when you run out of one color ink, you pay to replace all three colors at one time.

Unbelievable software comes with this printer which has diagnostics,help and photo card creations and much more. Ink levels can be checked on the printer or in the software on your computer which is my favorite option. The printer is compact compared to my old HP printer and has a glossy black beautiful finish on the outside. It is much quieter and ink seems to be a little cheaper than my old HP printer. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would do it again!

Purchased online, pickup at store, took home, installed in minutes....I didn't even open the instruction book. It pretty much sets itself up alone. I set it up for my Galaxy S5, my Samsung Tablet and my ASUS Laptop. No problem, prints wireless and beautifully on all three! With the laptop I installed the printer CD software. Also keep in mind that with the laptop you can always hook it up with the a USB cord to the printer. Piece of cake. Happy Custtomer.

I wanted a printer that was also a copier and that used one black and one color cartridge, not individual colors. Got a great deal on Black Friday. It was really easy for me to set up and connect WiFi to my computer. It's a lot quieter when I turn it on, than my Cannon MX430 printer and very easy to use.

It didn't work. It had an error message of "clear all packing material", which we had. We reviewed instructions and a YouTube video to be sure we hadn't missed something. We couldn't get it to work, so we returned it to the Best Buy.

Frustrated to the max as took one back for non function and second one not printing either. Lots valuable time wasted and still no print!

Bought this as a gift. I'm tech savvy, so I offered to help install/set-up this printer for the person I gave it to. Ended up having to return it due to an "error code" that prevented it from properly installing. Total bummer.

Did not expect a lot for a printer this inexpensive, but needed one to replace an old monster HP for which printer cartridges have become hard to find (and VERY expensive). Picked this one based on the promise of easy print from phone/tablet. I have tried other mobile print options and they have never worked to my liking but for this price, what the heck. Set up was easy - never even opened the picture book or the instruction guide. I used the USB cable option to the computer since I had one from the old printer that fit and just assumed it would be a more reliable connection but you can hook it to computer either through a wireless network or directly with the printers own wi-fi. On screen prompts easy to follow. the Disk that comes with the printer, after you load it, gives you the option of loading everything from the disk or from the web. I chose the web option as it promised to have the latest updates if any. Again no problem on the set up. HP does walk you through a lot of screens to get you to sign up for things and watch what boxes you are checking if you don't want email ads or data checking. One thing you will want to do is give the printer its own email address. You do this during the set-up and have to print out a special code from the printer you will type into a field. After all hooked up it prompts you to print off a test page then have the printer scan the page. The initial print quality was not very good but assumed that could be from ink that has been sitting in the box for a while. Ran the clean cartridge option and tried again and the print quality was very very good for a unit this size and price. You need to do the scan so it can fine-tune the print quality. Printer allows you to print, copy, scan. You can scam a photo or document to file, directly to an email or in TIFF format. The real star of this is the mobile printing option. You have to download a free app to phone or tablet and then you can print any document or photo to the printer from your phone one of two ways. First, you can connect to the printer over its own wi-fi connection (not sure what the range on this is yet, so far been right next to the printer) or you can send the doc or photo to your printer via the printer email address you set up. That way you can have something spit out of the printer from anywhere. Works great so far. It has two ink cartridges that are not very big. One for Black one Tri-color. Printer will take photo paper but have not tried that yet. Photos printed on plain paper look like.....photos printed on plain paper. Only negative I have run across so far is that you have to adjust print options (draft/normal/best quality, paper type, etc) from your computer not from the printer itself. Would be much easier often to just be able to hit a button on the printer for that. Other than that, nothing bad to speak of. It is not going to be as fast or as razor sharp as a $1,000 office printer but I can't see anyone that would not be happy with this for 99% of what you would ever want to do at home except perhaps if you want to do lots of professional quality photo printing. I imagine a dedicated photo printer with separate color ink cartridges would be better for that.

Great deal- well under $100 for this printer/scanner. Ink is inexpensive, the quality is great, wireless connectivity is easy to use, and the cost of the printer cannot be beat. I print email attachments and PDFs wirelessly from my iPhone more often and easily than I do from my laptop. Great buy!

Geek Squad Representative suggested this printer after many failed attempts to install Epson wireless printer. I am so glad he did because this printer is wonderful! very easy to connect via wireless, sleek design and quiet printing.

if I could get the Geek squad or someone from HP to get back to me I may even love this printer
