I bought two of these printers for my kids at college and neither one can get it to connect with their Mac Books. So they were a waste of money. because Best Buy has a two week return policy which I hate.

The printer works great but cannot hook it up to wireless. The e-print works but to connect wireless from my computer will not recognize the printer.

Good printer for normal use and the ink lasts a long time. It takes up a lot of space with its size.

    My 3rd Envy. Terrible printers

I'm sure glad I bought a 2-yr warranty on my Envy printer. The Envy 4500 is the 3rd Envy printer I tried. The 4599 was a nightmare loading paper. It failed even when I used HP paper as well. Before the 4500, I tried 2 different Envy 5300 printers first. The 5300 also had problems loading paper PLUS it often paper jammed

    Constant error messages

No matter how many times I do what is recommended to prevent error messages, I constantly get error messages AND my documents do not print completely. Have to sit by the printer and wait to see if the document will print defeats the convenience of being able to print in another room.

Door for paper tray requires you to scrunch the paper or leave the door open - if the door was only 1/4" longer, problem would be solved. Printing is VERY SLOW, from initial print and multiple copies. I wish I would have purchased a different brand

Horrible product with horrible tech support

I bought this printer thinking it would get me through my junior and senior year of college. It failed out of the box. After the display screen "timed out" and went blank, the printer had to be unplugged to restart. I called tech support to get it fixed, and the nightmare began.... To sum it all up: a guy I could barely understand spent 2 hours and 17 minutes hijacking my computer, 3 GB of data were spent through my metered account, the 0 key on my laptop suddenly became a / key (yes, I pressed the zero key and the forward slash popped up, talk about screwing with your logins!) and I was nearly charged 20 bucks to have a refurbished printer sent to me. I bought a brand new printer, and I went through all of this to be told I could have a refurbished printer sent to me?!?! After some very polite and logical arguing, I was able to get a brand new printer sent to me for no charge, but I really wish I had bought a better printer to start with. Spend 50 more bucks and save yourself some grief, trust me.....

After printing 25 sheets had issues with the ink cartridges getting stuck. Despite my best efforts the company told me to return the printer. Seems I'm not the only with the issue.

    Terrible printer. Avoid

You cannot scan multiple pages at a time from the auto feeder. You can only scan one page at a time from the flatbed scanner. Also, the printer randomly stops printing jobs halfway through. HUGE waste of ink and time.

If your document has more than 1 page, you better print them separately. Go with another printer.

I've had great success with HP printers. Then I met the Envy 4500. It jammed more than it printed. Print quality was subpar. I called HP and the tech told me I should perform maintenance steps...on a brand new printer. I said no...send me a new one. It has arrived and I hope the new one is better than the one it replaces. This is the worst printer I have ever purchased.

    Worst printer I've ever used

This is actually the worst printer I've ever tried to use. The paper jams 9 out of every 10 pages I try to print. No matter what I did, I couldn't fix the issue. If I could have, I would have given this printer zero stars. Returning this first thing tomorrow morning and buying a different brand.

If it were actually wireless, it would be great

For the few things I use a printer for, the print job is fine. It worked perfectly for the first few months, and now I constantly have to play with it to get it to print wirelessly and it just started jamming paper. I'm about to hook it up to my laptop to use, thus rendering it a regular printer and a pain in my backside. I would not recommend this printer to anyone- it's very frustrating to have to mess with it every time I want to print something.

If I could give this printer zero stars, I would. It jammed every time I tried to print something. It was ridiculously lousy. Don't waste your time and money.
