This review is influenced in part because of the product it replaced, another low cost printer with a small footprint made by Epson. There really is no comparison between the two, the Envy has exceeded all expectations and s a great printer for its price, I would highly recommend it.

I like the two-sided feature and paper tray location. Overall it was good to replace my old printer with this one. Also the ink is a little cheaper than for my old printer.

Printer goes offline often, have to turn it off and back on again for it to pick up the wireless signal. The printer was a reduced price promotional item and that was my reason for purchase. Pros of the printer, it is very quiet when printing and the printing speed is nice.

It prints double-sided, and allows me just to print in black. I used to have another printer and wasted a lot of ink, this one actually saves ink. My favorite feature is being able to print from another room in my home.

Excellent product at an incredible price. Definitely the "Best Buy". Great photo prints done quickly, scanning is precise and quick, copying takes no time at all with perfect reproduction and the price for ink is very competitive. This printer has value far beyond its price tag.

I had no intention of getting a printer the day I got this one. Great price for an all-in-one and faster higher quality than previous printer that cost three times more!

I am a big couponer and bought this so I could print coupons from my iphone as well as my home computer. Set up was fairly easy once I registered it with HP. I would recommend this printer if you just need a basic wireless printer but not to do a lot of photo editing or anything

This is exactly the type of printer we were looking for! A no brainer to set up and use, the WiFi connection took seconds! We purchased an air printer from another major company and they wanted us to pay them to help us set it up! The copies are great, the printing is quick, and it does 2 sided copies. The foldable arm that serves as the tray for printed copies is the only negative. It is flimsy and folds in - I can see it breaking easily.

This is a nice all in one printer! My husband needed to print some school documents and our old printer broke. The old one didn't have a scanner and he often needs to scan homework in it send to an instructor. Luckily he can go to his job to do that but we decided to buy an all in one printer, scanner, copier and this does the job! No more having to run to his office in the middle of the night to scan in school work. I also like to print out some of the pictures I take and though I haven't used this printer for that yet I'm excited to try it!

Good basic printer, does printing, faxing, and scanning. Uses the old style single tri-color cartridge (HP 61), but that does not appear to be anymore expensive overall than the three colors have their own separate cartridges. I bought one for each of my two kids in college.

The installation of this printer is very easy. Even to set it up to print wireless is easy as well. The only bad thing is that there is no tray for the paper that is printing. You have to wait for the paper to come out and grab it yourself otherwise it'll fall to the floor.

great, great, too have.,easy too use for everything for all my needs, was really worry it would take along time to learn too work, but just took a few hours too start working everything out, they put a great printer out , when they made this one, thanks much for all the support.

Great printer for the price for kids' school stuff. I love that i can air print from my ipad. Has a lit menu window, which is imperative as I found out the hard way with my previous printer (i didn't pay attention to this small detail and wow what difference it makes to be able to see what you are doing in lower light situations). I miss having a feeder for copying multiple pages but willing to do without for this price. Very few menu buttons so navigating to what you want takes a few more steps than a printer with buttons for all options already on the panel. Again, willing to do without for the price. Very fast and great quality.

Bought this to use every now and then for coupons or random documents. Works well. No complaints. Small enough to fit in a cabinet and big enough to do everything I need.

This printer is fairly easy to set up. HP has alot of forums online that tell you how to set up the printer for Chromebook using cloud print and it works pretty well but sometimes it takes a long time for the printer to print because it has to go through the cloud first.

came fast in ups and hook it up in 15mins,had no trouble hooking it up .download from hp the software, ran it and it was easy with touch screen can print form any ware. I really like this printer. Working good so far.

I caught this printer on sale, and decided to get it. We have a current printer, but at the price of less than $50, I figured I'd get it for that "just in case" moment. We decided to hook it up in my home office, and it works like a dream. I can even print it from the phone!

Love my new HP printer. Only one problem, the ink runs out too quick even though I bought the XL cartridge. HP is not filling the cartridge like one would think. I took cartridge apart and the sponge in it was only 25% black. But the HP Envy 4500 is a great product.

This printer was easy to install and setup. I was hoping that I could scan directly to print. But saving the scanned copy to my hard drive is also a good feature. Having an HP laptop; this is the perfect accessory.

Love the printer it is wonderful. Has worked flawlessly since I hooked it up. The ink costs as much as the printers do through. The ink subscription does not seem like a good idea as I do not keep track of how much I print so I wouldn't want to take the chance.
