The touch display is too small for my fingers so it’s frustrating to use. The display lights stay on at all times which is annoying to say the least. The Ink program is a joke requiring you to sign up or you can’t use the printer. The ink for these machines is almost always a rip off. I only print 5-10 pages a month if that.

If I could give a ZERO, I would. HP Envy 6555e printer bought to replace HP 6830. New printer has tiny cartridges that quickly run out of ink. SLOW. Buy a bigger printer or print at your local library. TOTAL WASTE of MONEY.

I have been buying hp products for years. The quality has been getting very bad, over the last few years. This last purchase has ended my buying hp. Bought in April 2025 this printer sounds like it is grinding to death. This is just nuts having to replace several times a year. I'm done. Moving on to Brother . The reports on Brother regular cartridge printer have been very good.

When my HP printer quit printing color I bought a 6500. After about 4 months it quit printing "cartridge failure." After changing cartridges and other tests I spent time chatting with an HP tech. When we could not resolve the problem he gave me a link to an HP service center 1100 miles away and terminated the chat. I cannot recommend this printer or HP service. Canon here I come!

I don’t like the way paper loads. The touch pad is difficult to use. Understanding the touch pad symbols is not easy. I would return it for a different printer if I could.

Do not buy this printer if you have a Mac. It took 3 hours to set up, including downloading and app, and doing multiple restarts, and so much troubleshooting. And after all that, it won't print from a computer (laptop or desktop), because of an "invalid certificate." Only works from mobile devices. You must pay for HP's customer service and also for Best Buy assistance ($39).

I have bought HP printers and desktops exclusively for years. This was the lowest quality I have ever had. The power plug did not fit snugly, so it was a problem getting power every time I used it. It scanned properly the first two days. After that, it lost internet connectivity and I gave up after trying all troubleshooting tricks. I would not recommend that anyone purchase this item.

The set up for this printer is terrible!! It took over 2 hours on the phone toget it to work. After 5 days it would not print due to faulty ink cartridges. Spent another 90 minutes on the phone to diagnose problem.HP sent new cartridges which fixed the problem but had to wait 1 week for delivery

Ii have owned HP printers all of my life and this is by far the worst I have ever purchased. It keeps losing Wifi signals and will not connect to my laptop two days in a row. I had HP support on the line who downloaded another driver and set my computer up to print, but the very next day, it lost connectivity! Save your money and stay away from this one.

When I got this printer, I was expecting a little more than what I got. Let's talk about the good. This printer sets up very easily with the downloaded app which walks you step by step through the process. I didn't have any issues there. When I printed an article with photos, the colors were very vibrant and mostly true to what I saw on my screen. This printer also does automatic double sided through the app so you don't have to manually turn the paper over to get that feature. It does it by itself which I really like. The issues, I had are that even if you are printing black and white, this printer is slower than others I've had in the past. The paper try looks like it holds more than it actually does, which was disappointing. The paper scanner on top doesn't hold as many sheets as I thought it would either and even with paper correctly loaded in it, I still could not get it to scan from there and I haven't been able to figure out why. Also, I'm not a fan of the paper catch arm. When printing large photos, the paper bends on this arm even when it's all the way out in the proper position. I definitely wouldn't use it for photos you need to keep flat. This won't work. But other than that this printer is great. It is very quiet.

Ran out of ink and won't accept a new authentic HP cartridge. Printers in general already have too many points of failure and HP created another one in the software restricting choice of cartridges, and in this case blocked it's own cartridge. It is unusable now.

The printer hasn't worked since the first day I set it up. It's cheaply constructed, all fragile components that are easily breakable. Spend more money and buy a better printer.
