||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We researched other brands, decision on this brand and model was made possible by HP Rep at the local Best Buy. He talked us out of a more expensive model that we felt we needed however, rep gave us feedback to help us make a more informed decision. Very appreciative.

Think twice before you buy this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the ENVY 7640 for about 3 months now. The print quality is great. The issues came right from the start...doc feed would not work-HP had to uninstall and reinstall printer software. Photo program repeatedly says "out of paper" when it is NOT out of paper. I only use HP paper and HP ink to get the full benefit of HP quality, and yet I am consistently disappointed. EVERY TIME I try to print a photo it prints the first third of the photo then spits it out. I have to make between 5-10 attempts to print a photo before it actually decides to print one! Such an expensive waste of photo paper. VERY DISPLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT. Photo print quality is dull and grainy even on BEST quality setting. What are my options at this point, HP?
