Not good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer was a new product, but the CD/DVD player was not working. Came with Windows 10 that was malfunction. Waste time going to the store several times, until they replaced it. Still not happy with the computer.

Awesome PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially very worried about this PC after reading some reviews but I am happy to say my PC works flawlessly. Easy set up, massive amounts of storage, sweet windows 10, and an awesome processor. Not a fan of the wireless keyboard and horizontal disk tray but still managble. Also the usb slots are in a weird spot. It's okay if your desktop is on, well on your desktop though lol. Throw in a ssd and graphics card and you'd have your self a decent gaming rig. Got it for a steal when it was on sale + open box.

terrible_ piece of garbage_do not buy_schiesse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can not believe the poor quality that HP is presenting to the public. This computer was slow. Could not run simple microsoft apps. And the optical drive stopped working within a couple weeks. It was a nightmare to use. My previous outdated HP was much better. HP obviously doesn't care about a quality product. They cheapened everything that they could on this piece of junk. They decided to use laptop RAM and inferior internal components. The happiest day that I had with this thing was the day I returned it to the store. Stay clear of this beast. it is terrible.

AWFUL - Returned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine was pretty much unusable. It locked up due to conflicts between HP sleep management software and Windows sleep management. After removing the HP software it worked better for a little while, but then it wouldn't shut down properly and threw errors on shut down. After resolving those errors, it was back to locking up after a few minutes of use. Returned to the store and got a Lenovo instead.

Excellent PC!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I started looking for a new desktop, this one caught my eye.It has all the features that I was looking for and was on sale.At the time,it was a brand new model,so it only had a couple of customer reviews.I pulled the trigger anyway and have never looked back. With excellent performance, great graphics and more than ample memory, this computer is a great choice.

Fast Computer that performs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is very fast and has tons of space for memory. This computer is a great computer that performs excellent even when I have got a million different programs open at the same time. This computer can definitely keep up with the workload that I put on it. This is a good choice for a computer that was well worth the price.

buried under junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is like buying a new car with so much junk crammed in it with only you to remove it or pay someone to take it out. If you want any upgrades you pay to get them and pay to put them in and will be on the service merry-go-round trying to resolve the problem. I have been two months trying to bring the product on and cannot afford to have the new unit fail during a crucial business transaction.

Something New
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well after having my last computer which was a hp m8120n media center pc for the last decade I figured it was time to update. It amazes me how much computer technology has changed within that time period. I did some initial research about what I wanted on my new pc and it pretty much dwindled down to the hp envy 750-114. It has dual hdmi output with 12gb memory and 2tb storage with wireless mouse and keyboard, all which met my requirements. So far I like the computer although using Windows 10 after coming from Windows 7 takes a lot of getting used to. Also not a big fan of the new slim dvd drives used in the computer. Basically the slim drives are the ones used in laptops and offer half the read/wrtie speed found in "fat" normal internal dvd drives. Since I'm one of the people who still uses their dvd drive a lot this annoyed me to no end so I ended up having to buy an external dvd drive which has satiated my hunger for speed. I also found myself having keyboard/mouse lagging or being completely unresponsive but I researched that issue on the hp site for the pc and found that Ironically enough having a usb 3.0 flash drive or external hard drive plugged in hinders the operation of mouse/keyboard. For some reason they interfere with each other, so upon removing my flash drive I had plugged in all is well in the world. Although my last pc had wireless mouse/keyboard with usb 3.0 no problems. I think it has to do with their usage of a usb adapter that doesn't have the connect button that my last pc had. Other that issue I haven't really noticed anything else major although I've had it only a few days now and haven't done any windows updates. I know some people have complained about the "chiclet" keyboard but I don't see that much a issue once you get acquainted with it. All around I give the pc a 4 out of 5.

Super computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best computer I've ever owned - fast, huge memory. No issues whatsoever. Easy to set up. I had to buy a new monitor since my old monitor didn't have an HDMI input but no worries... that's technology! Windows 10 is really nice once you play with it a little. It's very easy to use.

Product is hard to use, data is lost.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was highly touted but has been a nightmare to me. It is complicated to learn how it works. Data that was transferred from my old CPU (at great cost) is lost and nearly impossible to locate. I am disappointed in HP and Best Buy.

freat computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easiest computer that I have ever set up. Computer is very fast and has a good amount of memory and huge hard drive so I shouldn't need another one for years. I also like that it's wireless. This is my third H P computer and have had very good luck with them.

Very Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this new HP Envy 750-114 to replace a 6-1/2 year old HP Pavilion that is still running Vista. I also have an all-in-one HP and a Toshiba laptop, thankfully both run on Windows 7. The HP Envy 750-114, has 12 GB RAM and a 2 TB harddrive and runs Windows 10. I expected this to run much faster than the 6-1/2 year old desktop it was replacing. It has not met my expectations. It takes about the same amount of time to load a website or program on the new PC as the old one. The HP Envy 750-114 is very unreliable and frequently freezes when multi-tasking or after spending 15 or so minutes on the web. The only way to get past the freeze is to power-off the computer. Once it freezes the Ctrl+Alt+Del does not work to bring up the task manager as it does on most of my other computers. I also have problems seeing the other computers on the Network from the HP Envy. The other computers recognize the HP Envy but the HP Envy only recognizes my laptop. The design of the tower is horrible. This is a very large tower and there is plenty of room for the DVD drive to be mounted horizontally. Instead HP chose to mount it vertically which means a DVD or CD can only be inserted or removed using two hands and only from the right side as you face the tower. This is very inconvenient. There are 4 USB ports, a media card reader, and an audio plug on the top that are located behind the top front panel. They cannot be seen from the front and they are aligned at an angle. The only way to insert the USB is to pull the tower out from under the desk, tip it forward, get a flashlight so you can see the angle of the port and insert your USB device or cable properly. The same holds for the media reader which is located along the same panel. Whoever designed this must have been looking at the computer from the back not the front. This is the worst design I have ever had in any of the computers I have owned in the past 25 years. The included keyboard is so small that it is hard to keep your fingers in the right placement. The right arrow key is actually under the Number pad, so it is frequently touched when that it not the intention. I will be replacing the keyboard. Microsoft Edge, which replaces Windows Explorer is terrible. It causes the computer to freeze 9 out of 10 times. Microsoft Edge does not recognize/lauch hyperlinks in emails I made Chrome the default browser and that helped but it still freezes up about 1/2 the time if have multiple tabs open or multiple hyperlinks have been clicked. I have owned several HP computers in the past and all have been reliable work horses. This is the worst HP and the worst computer I have owned to date.

Unstable System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as an open box, so perhaps that was the issue. Internals on paper look good, but the computer kept crashing from the time I set it up. I updated all bios and drivers but still did not help. Decided to return it.
