Good processing speed, lots of memory

So far no down side, unless you want to downgrade for 8.1, takes a bit of a learning curve but not that big a deal. Bloated with HP software that I have no use for, but that's pretty standard for any desktop. Limited Office options, but that's also indicative of Window OS, and not the HP product.

not what I hoped for or was expecting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The pc that I selected for purchase on the Best Buy website was advertised as having Windows 7 Professional for an OS and also as having an HDMI connection. The latter was essential for me since I was not also purchasing speakers nor a separate display, but intending to connect it to my living room 32 inch flat panel TV via an HDMI cable. This pc instead arrived with Windows 8.1 OS installed and NO HDMI connection. I hate Windows 8.1 and would not have voluntarily purchased a new desktop pc without Windows 7 Professional or Home Premium 64x. I didn't realize that the pc was not what I wanted nor what I selected for purchase until I had it all unpacked and setup. Not happy at all!
