I have never wrote a negative review before but I wish I had know about Windows 8 before I bought this computer. I had Windows 7 before for several years and just loved it. There is not anything about Windows 8 that I like. I don't know if it is my computer or what but it freezes up on me all of the time. I am still having a hard time trying to learn it after 6 weeks. I wished I had taken the money that I spent on this computer and repaired my old computer.

Started up right away. WIFI linked instantly Great.

store manager was horrible. needs people skills...

Trying to figure out the apps is a bit of a problem. No explanation if apps have to stay on task bar or if they can be moved to desktop. A lot of little problems to sort out for such a high end computer, otherwise very happy with memory capacity.

best one I've ever had if I have to complain the sound isn't quite what I expected I wanted more options like extra bass etc there seems to be no way to boost what I have other than that I luv it

I got this because I needed a simple computer to upgrade later, instead of constantly upgrading to a new tower every year. My IT guy says this is the one to get. Looks good in the office too. The fan i think is a little loud, but that could also be due to the unit being confined inside a cubby in the desk.

New to computing..... read basic news and events use email, pay bills, light browsing, store & print photos. Presently don't play games or use for movies. Beginning to discover APPS.

I have had good experience with a HP printer, The customer service was great, I thought it would be the same other products and I was right.

The HP brand computers have worked well for my business and personal use I have 5 HP systems now three desktops and 2 laptops. when I replace these HP will be the first brand I will check out.

The only downside to this PC is the fact that it comes pre-loaded with a load of unnecessary stuff (for me at least), which I just had to uninstall. Otherwise, a top purchase (Although it does look like it was designed by a Cylon)

Been awhile since we had a new computer system. This seems to be ok. runs faster and doesn't crash like our old one. Still trying to find everything.

I am finding that in using larger databases like Facebook that there are a lot of hesitations in the operation of the program.... for a computer that is suppose to be faster and good for games or graphics.... I am not satisfied with the speed performance of the desktop in certain programs... Still overall performance is good and I will contact the company to find ways to improve the hesitation in the larger programs.

only has left and right outs. video card is slow and only has a single HDMI out. A lot of program won't run with compatability manager

This product is just what we were looking for in a computer! We love using it daily. We basically use it only for personal, home use, but we're often asked by others to do some "work" for them and they are always please and grateful.

This is a good computer for someone who is looking for the basic in computer technology.

I love this computer and am glad I bought it except that it doesn't have a built-in microphone. I need one for some educational classes that I teach.

I purchased this computer because my prior computer didn't have the capacity to handle all of my photography programs. The HP Envy meets my needs.

Difficult to access Internet when first turned on. Requires a reboot
