I originally bought a computer for my grandson, but it was unable to play the game he got for his birthday. Best Buy took back the mistaken purchased computer and I got the one he needed for his game. Best buy worked with me to correct my previous purchase. I did see this computer online and had his older brother look at it also. A gaming specialist also reviewed the game he wanted to play and we were able to buy with confidence. Great computer and it's just what my grandson wanted.

The PC is lighting quick, unreal! This machine is a step down on processor over the machine it replaced (i7 vs i5) and I am amazed at how much quicker this new PC is with the newer gen i5 and probably mostly due to the solid state hard-Drive. PC goes from OFF to ON and usable in less than 90 seconds. If I had to complain, I wish the front USB ports were located closer to the base of the tower. In my case, the CD/DVD tray also opens with the backside of the tray facing me (play/burner is mounted vertically in tower); this means I have to get up and move to other side of tower to load/remove CD/DVD…Not a deal stopper, but kinda sucks.

I basically need something fast and easy to use. One issue is that the included keyboard crams the number and misc keys together so I am still using my old keyboard

Very happy with my computer. You cannot go wrong with HP. If you want quality HP is the way to go.

My old desktop had last rites. I had purchased HP's in the past. This computer had the options I wanted and it has worked up to the level I expected. It is a very nice machine.

I had a lot of trouble getting the computer up and going. I haven't used it enough to know yet if I'm really going to be happy with it.

I guess the number filled in the box is my best buy member number? I didn't change that... The computer is a bit overwhelming in that I don't know how to work a lot of it. I had a Vista computer and this is very different. Lots of gismos and I don't know what goes where. I like the fact that the computer itself is very fast. For that reason I am suggesting that my friends by it.

Running a home office and this desktop does all---and more---than I need. I thoroughly recommend it. I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy Windows 10 is to use and super pleased at the set up capability of my Geek Squad contact.

Excellent PC overall, some questionable design decisions (the card slot and front USB ports are facing backwards at an awkward angle).

Just set this up. All went very easy. After getting rid of all the extras, I now have it set up to work really well. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is the DVD drive. The quality of the DVD drive is low. Don't plan on using that function that much so it should be OK.

My son and I saved for several months to get him the gaming computer he wanted. I bought this even though it was more than I intended to spend. I read all the positive reviews. When it arrived, he was unable to play his games. After taking it to Geek Squad we were told that the computer had issues. It was brand new! I could pay to get it fixed or return it. It was returned! Not a happy customer!

About six months ago I bought a Hewitt Packard Envy desktop computer. It came with an optical DVD drive that would only read some of the standard DVDs from Netflix. An inexpensive external drive read them all. Hewitt Packard wanted to charge me to “fix” their drive that should have originally come with the software to read common DVDs.
