"This desktop is a powerhouse for everyday tasks and light gaming, with a fast processor and ample RAM. The sleek design is a plus, but the included graphics card could be better for high-end gaming."

On sale for 750. Needs an upgrade on the ram. I got 32g x 2. It comes with single 16g. Even with that it didnt crash or freeze. The i7 20 core only peaked at 11% with ram at 60%. Great deal with wireless keyboard and mouse.

This HP desktop computer is very quick and easy to use. The multiple USB ports on the front make it efficient to interface with. The internal memory is easy to increase and an additional hard disk storage drive it easy to install, the wiring connectors are already available. I would buy this computer again.

I wanted more speed/reliablity and Window's 11, so I could upgrade performance. I am not a gamer and do not use the machine for such. Speed and reliablilty have noticeably improved with this new desktop. It was reasonable easy to reload all my saved data from the old desktop. After 4 weeks, I am very happy with the purchase. All my daily chores take less time.

This PC works great out of the box. Very fast and very affordable. Replacing an old computer for a home office and it makes everything much faster and easier. No issues so far after about 5 months so its probably fully in the clear. Most issues people have with these pre-build PC's are their own user error anyway.

This is my 10th desktop PC, but my first HP, and the first PC I've had problems with from the start. The problems, though, might be Microsoft Windows 11 problems, not HP. Upon starting up for the first time, Windows Update installed version 24H2. Then it asked if I wanted to copy my settings from another PC, so I said yes. When the setup completed, the Start menu crashed every time I clicked on it, even after multiple restarts. Maybe it was because my other PC was still on 23H2, but I ended up having to create another administrator account with a working Start menu, delete my main account, then recreate my main account. No problem with Start after that. Next, I have the PC set to turn off the monitor after 10 minutes of inactivity. On the second day, the PC refused to turn the monitor back on after shaking the mouse or hitting a key. Win-Ctrl-Shift-B was required to reset the display. This happened several more times. I was able to reach an HP Tech Support agent by phone. He tweaked a few settings, but the trouble returned the next day. I decided to set it to NEVER turn off the monitor, and wait for an Intel display driver update, which was made available in HP Support Assist two weeks later. After installing the update, I put settings back to 10 minutes, and the monitor came back on without issue every time for the rest of the day. Get this - later on, Windows Update automatically reinstalled the older driver! I reinstalled the new one, and have Windows Update on pause for one week. Finally, my HP dashboard incorrectly shows a purchase date in September, 2024 (I bought it from Best Buy in November), and a warranty expiration of 09/30/2025, when I should be November 2025. The Tech Support agent said September was when it was shipped to Best Buy. I emailed a copy of my receipt, and he replied with confirmation the warranty has been changed to November, but online, HP still shows the September dates. At least I have the email if I should need it. Other than that, the PC is fast, I like the wireless keyboard and mouse, but the sound quality is fair. Unfortunately, the HP audio enhancements cause compression, or the volume leveling that I absolutely can't stand. I bought this PC because it still has the Stereo Mix circuitry, and it doesn't need an adapter to connect an older VGA monitor.

Highly recommended computer by my trusted technician when I needed an updated system. He said nothing below an Intel Core i7 and 16GB memory. The 1TB SSD is sweet! Plenty of space!! Easy to set up without the tech and I had it up/running within 15 minutes!

This is an outstanding price for the value of the system. I have long been an Intel fan as well as an HP consumer. It's fast, plenty of memory, good graphics (for onboard). For this price, you are getting an outstanding product.

Really good price from Best Buy and the unit is super quiet and very fast. It was a great replacement to our old system. Getting used to Windows 11 but not loving it - but otherwise am quite happy. Had to buy separate DVD drive as most new towers do not have.

I like it. I am moving on from my previous desktop that is more than a decade old and cannot run the new-age applications that require more and more processing and memory resources. I was torn between this and a gaming PC. However, since I do not game, it is perfectly fine for my everyday use cases. This does not have the GPU, but is half the price of that gaming PC. I got this on for sale at 699, so felt like a great deal. One thing I would add at least is another 16gb ram, to make a total of 32gm memory power, since google chrome alone sucks up a lot of memory. All in all, it's a good pc, and seems to be future proof for next 4-5 years.

This is the best desktop computer that I have ever owned. Quiet, easy to use, powerful and fast. Best feature is that it works wireless. No need for a bunch of cables.

Great Desktop Tower PC , excellent price. It's very fast and it has never crashed. Way faster than my Apple MacBook Pro. Would definitely buy it again!

Bought this to replace my previous HP desktop with Windows 10 and many reasons I could not update to Windows 11. Easy to set up, including it recognized my monitor, router, two printers, speakers, camera. All worked as expected. While the Windows 11 is different than Windows 10, I was already familiar because my laptop is Windows 11. I am a home-based user, and not a gamer. Thus the speed was more than sufficient for my tasks.

This desktop is a total workhorse that handles the heavy lifting of high-res book files and complex graphic renders without breaking a sweat. The i7-14700 processor provides that snappiness you need when running multiple creative suites at once, ensuring there’s no lag between an idea and the screen. With a 1TB SSD, I finally have plenty of onboard space to store massive illustration libraries and project archives right where I need them. The 16GB of memory keeps my workflow smooth, allowing me to bounce from deep-focus writing to heavy design work without any system stutter. It’s a sleek, understated powerhouse that anchors a home studio perfectly, giving you the raw speed to stay ahead of a busy publishing schedule.

This is my third HP Envy desktop and I have been impressed by all three. They are reliable and I have never had any performance issues with them. This i7 14th gen is great in all categories, performance, speed, Wi-Fi and overall an excellent buy. I am not a gamer or video editor so this is perfect for me. I upgraded the ram to 32 GB, so this should be future proof for many years to come.

Very sleek and clean looking, runs great. It only has one HDMI port, and that was the only thing I overlooked when purchasing.

I am always stressed about a new computer and all of the things I need to add that I had on the old one. That process is a lot easier and a lot less stressful these days using the Google and Microsoft sign-ins. I had it all set up and running with all of my stuff in less than an hour. It runs fast and has more storage capacity than I will ever need. If I can get 5 or 6 years out of it I will be happy.

The desktop computer and accessories were a good buy. This replaces a desktop that was over 10 years old and is much faster and was easy to setup and begin using. There were few instructions in the box, but it was for the most part easy to do. The unit included a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.
