This laptop is good for general use like email, internet surfing, and office work. I would not buy for gaming. The touch screen works well and not too heavy.

Fast. Easy to understand. Such an upgrade from the Toshiba we had recent purchased.

While I find that the keyboard need a bit of getting used to, overall I like the machine well enough. It is a bit touchy in that the cursor moves almost too easily but this is getting better as I get used to it.

Would recommend the HP ENVY laptop very highly no matter what level of computer training that you have. It is an easy computer to get used to with a keyboard that is second to none. The keyboard is sensitive but with practice that will not be a problem. The built in speakers are another plus and the sound is excellent.

Like the touch screen, but pretty geeky for a modest user, passwords are a pain, gets viruses really easy, not that fast, just ok, rather have a simpler apple.

The mouse in the keyboard never works and when it does it is annoying. I like the touch screen but you need to beable to use the mouse as well. I'm not happy with this purchase.

The computer is under one month old. It runs slower than a laptop I purchased at least 8years ago. I have been going through geek squad multiple times and I'm am still experiencing several problems with this computer. I have constant lagging with my internet connection. My mouse pad is always getting stuck. The different programs installed on the computer lag when more than two are running. I updated my bios on my computer because the online geek squad remote support could not do it. I regret purchasing this computer. I have wasted time purchasing geek squad support because I keep getting the run around with no real resolution of my problems.

I am happy with my HP laptop but sometimes it does some weird things. Like changing screens or signing me off when I am in the middle of something. Not sure why this happens. I guess I would recommend it.

This laptop stops and starts and is slow to load web emails, photos, videos, etc. Often loses wifi connection and needs to reconnect often.
Very attractive screen and great keyboard but not what I was looking for.

I have had nothing but problems with the computer since I purchased it. It was swapped out for a new unit after a couple of weeks, and this one performs even worse than the first one. The track pad only works sometime and the cursor dances across the screen at random with nobody anywhere near the computer. A lot of my time has been wasted on technical assistance and swapping, and it still does not perform as it's supposed to. Geek Squad does not know how to fix it.

I didn't like the feel of the HP laptop...to be fair though I have always used a dell laptop and the HP just didn't feel like my dell. I think the keys are much stiffer and I just was not pleased at all!

I'm not sure if this is a good product or not. Mine was opened and though I was assured it was fine, it is not. The processor is slow and sometimes unresponsive. The screen is kind of small as well.

I wish I had never seen Windows 8.1. It sucks! Your geek squad did a poor job of helping me. I think they have made this computer operate very slowly.

It's nice to have a touch screen, but the price could have been better. The touch pad often does its own thing. Very bad at getting wifi signal.

Overall, the computer is nice; has a pretty good video card, nice amount of RAM, etc. I give it two stars because of the endless hassle I've had with HP over a faulty internet card.
