The computer itself is a pretty solid unit, however, the touchpad is absolutely horrible. HP has been aware of the problem but has yet to come out with a repair for the pad.

When purchased, laptop letters in one row stopped working after a week. When brought back for exchange, we were asked to pay a fee. After new one was received, it worked fine.

Great sold laptop, I am really happy with my purchase and I will be referring this to friends.

Without the touch screen I would be lost since I am more of an apple user

Laptop is easy to operate, however Windows 8 is rather difficult to get used too.

The mouse pad failed 2 hours after i purchased this laptop. Also, for having a powerful processor, it was very slow for the amount of money you're paying for this laptop. Researching online showed there was no true fix for the mouse issue other than replacing the pad with the same failing part. Even a driver update was no good. Took it back for a better laptop the next day.

Very fast and easy to use--love the touch screen. Just need to learn Windows 8.1 to navigate better.

I would recommend this laptop ..it is easy to learn to use and I am enjoying all that it can do..

Windows 8 is annoying but there is a desktop mode similar to 'old' windows so I use that. I find this locks up occasionally and using the touch screen I'm always accidentally pulling up weird menus on from the sides or an annoying search screen pops up in the middle of what I'm doing. So I try to use keyboard and pad instead of touching the screen. My first machine actually heated up and melted, best buy was nice about replacing it.

I would have appreciated having a computer on display to play with so i could get the hang of it. However, I enjoy my purchase now.

Good laptop for general use. Touchscreen is very useful with Windows 8.

The "control zone" aka mouse pad is horrible. First time I used the computer the mouse was extremely glitchy and hard to click on anything. Hoped that changing some settings would fix it and it didnt. Do your rescearch. So many reviews with this same issue. Needs to be recalled. Lucky im still in the 15 day return period and will be taking it back tomorrow. DO NOT BUYYYYY!!!!!!!!!1

I use it for work and gaming. It does everything I need it to and more.

Thought for the price it would have a CDROM, very disappointed. Salesperson rushed us through-wont buy again

I did not like the numeric keyboard or the touch pad. I ended up returning the pc in favor of another brand.
