Laptop was purchased for college. Worked fairly well, but was quite average. Definitely user friendly for beginners.

Had for 1week and the hard drive messed up. Used three times and was very slow. Do not get this!

I loved this machine...at first. The second day, the sound didn't work. Then the touchpad went wonky but seemed to clear. When I turned on the machine about 10 days later, it literally bugged out, as though possessed. Screens kept opening, and wouldn't stop. I took it back to BestBuy and the customer service tech said it was hot, on fire. Needless to say, I returned it. However, my sister has a similar model, loves it and has had no problem.

well I think this computer was hard to figure out. all I wanted was Yahoo and it is forever to get there . I lose my mouse 1/2 the time too

When I called Geek Squad the guy told me that other people called about the cord also. I hope I can return and get a new computer.

Runs hot, poor battery life, dim screen, slow charging, runs slow and can't connect to wi-fi.

I ended up returning two of these within two weeks due to MAJOR system glitches. I used my phone to look up solutions to the problem and discovered that the only solution is to return the laptop to the factory. Thank goodness both times it was within Best Buy's return policy timeframe.

My daughter got this item for Christmas and the sound does not work on it correctly. We will probably be returning it for a refund

It worked great in the store. The Demo model that is. Then it started not working correctly the second day we owned it. The touch screen stopped working and the internet speed was as slow as my 9 year old dell. We have to reboot it every day so it will work for about 20 minutes before the touch screen stops working. Big waste of $$$. The geek squad fixed it and it worked right for about 1 hour. My wife hates it.

This laptop is beautiful and it has great pictures but it slow and overheats. The model in the store was hot but i didnt think mine would have been but i wrong. My laptop was burning me and at times was scared that it would melt the motherboard and I am not Exaggerating either. I did wind up buying the Asus instead with no regrets.

My computer broke the first week I had it the hard drive was bad Best Buy sent it back to company instead of giving me a new one

The laptop has a lot of potential. I am on my third one due to the others messing up after a week of having it brand new.

The rotation works fine, but once it switches to tablet mode it doesn't go back to desktop mode unless i restart.

Ordered and sent to my daughter in college as she needed it to do her work. Began having issues about a month after she received it. When she came back for spring break took to Best Buy to return but no longer eligible for return even though I'm elite plus member. Tried to call manufacturer but useless. So now we just wasted $500 for a laptop that is worthless.

The clarity of the screen and the display are not as sharp as they should be and too delicate for children

Still doesn't work very well and Best Buy was not much help in fixing the problem.

The laptop functions great, unfortunately it's humongous! It's just too big to for everyday use.

purchased 2/24/17, 9 crashes later, 3/27 MS fixed.

Had to return it due to fan didn't turn off and it would shutdown without warning.

Had this computer for 16 days. Used it in my home office - it never even left the desk. The computer started to make a sound (probably the fan??) and now I don't have a computer. HP sent me a box to send it back so they can fix it. Best Buy is great, but 16 days after purchase and this??? Not happy.
