The HP Envy x360 is a very sleek and modern laptop with keyboard backlighting and touchscreen. The screen can bend into a tablet which makes it nice to watch Netflix before going to bed. The baterry life is good and the screen resolution is very crisp and fast. Overall great computer and haven't had any issues for these couple months I've had this computer.

The HP envy 2-in-1 is a very sleek, usefull, and overall great laptop for students. However, the 2-in-1 capability and screen ruined the experience. I very rarely used the 2-in-1 option, but when I did it ruined the laptop. 3 months after purchase I flipped my laptop over to the tablet function and the screen on the left side corners popped out. Not cracked or digitally imparied but simply popped out. I called geek squad and after discussion I was told to gently push it back. Unfortunately the screen did in fact crack. The damage was superficial but ruined my warranty. A year later ( a few days ago real time) I was typing on my laptop and tapped on the screen , being it is touch screen, then the laptop attachment piece at the base that makes the laptop 2-in-1 snapped. Causing the laptop to fall backwards and push the screen out. The hardware is easily exposed and the laptop can not bend upwards. The screen digitally is still working however unusable due to the laptop having to remain flat due to the damage. I don't believe the attachments are sturdy enough in this modle. If fixed I would repurchase. Again, great laptop otherwise

The Bad: Hard drive on this laptop is slow, if you are looking for a reliable PC this may be your choice but I highly recommend switching to SSD even tough it may void your warranty. Plastic finish and paint looks really cheap, HP support assistance still have some issues, be prepared for many updates from HP and Microsoft. Only 2 USB Ports. And finally Bang & Olufsen audio controller its a joke! We had better ones 20 years ago with Creative. This people is going backwards. You need to adjust manually every time you plug headphones and audio quality is really bad, Look for forums and articles about this laptop audio issues. Yes in 2017 this guys still releasing laptops with audio problems. No pen included. The Good: Not the quality I was expecting from a $800 laptop but its light, keyboard backlit is decent, screen resolution and camera is really good, battery holds charge for 5-6 hours of heavy use. USB Type C is very helpful, hinge system is very solid and easy to switch from PC to Tablet Mode.

performance wise its best laptop you can find for price. great battery duration. hinges look very smooth. excellent touch screen. only downside is screen brightness , which is dimmer than my previous hp envy. but it did not matter for people who have not seen bright screen before( as some of my friends told me, they are perfectly fine with screen.). i recommend this laptop, will not disappoint

I don't know a lot about computers, but did a ton of research before I purchased this one and an really happy with it. This HP is lightweight and speedy and has a lot of cool features. I got the laptop because my needed a pc for school. I got the 1T and it has been great with tons of storage. The touch screen is a feature I couldn't have gone without . My son loves it and I am excited to try Windows Ink once I buy a stylus. Out of all the laptops out there at the moments, this laptop has the best value.

I purchased this laptop after my last laptop of 6 years started to get slow and wasn’t functioning as good. So far, this laptop has been a great upgrade. The laptop is able to be converted into a tablet which was a plus! The battery life has been pretty good also. I needed this laptop for school and had to download software for classes and have had no issues with downloading the software and using the laptop. The laptop still functions fast and is able to do everything I need!

I don't know THE MOST about computer but did a ton of research before I purchased this one and an really happy with it. This pc is lightweight and speedy and has a lot of cool feature I have yet to explore. I got the laptop because I needed a pc for AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. I got the 16 gig and it has been great so far. The touch screen is a feature I could have gone without but now I love it and am excited to try Windows Ink Workspace once I get a stylus. Out of all the laptops out there at the moments, this laptop has the best bang for your buck.

I purchased the laptop a month ago after researching several in the store looking to replace my system. I must say I am very pleased with my choice. It has all the bells and whistles. The speed is better than anything I've had over the years. It was an upgrade for me because my purchase for laptops in the past has always been a couple of hundred of dollars less. After using it for a month, I must say that a couple of hundred dollars really really makes a difference in the laptop world. It is very upscale looking too, on the lines of a Mac. I was through with those plastic black looking systems. My last two both cracked in different places, they just aren't durable enough if your really mobile with them. I have no complaints! It handles all of my programs well, my main use is accounting software and basic office system programs, nothing really heavy. I'm also a chronic web tab opener when doing research. Works seamlessly without a hiccup. No sluggish behaviors at all. I am pleased.

I purchased this computer as my travel work computer. The first time I purchased it, it actually stopped working after 1 day. Black screen. Nothing. Hopefully it was just a lemon. Returned and bought the same model but with more memory. This one I'm having no issues with at all. It's fast and the current technology is super smooth. I'm a photographer so it allows me to run my full editing programs quickly and efficiently. The design of the computer is also very nice.

It is so different from my old one that on beginning was difficult but I am very happy with it. It is fast, has nice features, slim and light which make easy to carry around.

Overall a good laptop for school. Good Battery life. Its a 2 in 1 laptop so it can be turned into a tablet for writing. It also surprisingly supports the game Overwatch which I can play without issue on it. Only negative thing is that when charging the fan sometimes turns on which can be loud and the computer is also prone to getting smudges all over it so be sure to clean the laptop regularly.

This was super easy to get set up after I bought it. Battery life is awesome. And the laptop is lightweight and thin that it is really easy to take places.

This computer is great. It is very user friendly and has great storage. The salesperson listened too my needs and helped me choose this computer. I love HP products - this is my third hp laptop and it does not disappoint. I did have the geek squad set it up and asked them to remove the bloatwear as previous reviewers said it slowed it down. I love the touch screen option. Another plus is that linking to my existing printer was easy - all you have to do is open devices and the computer recognizes your printer and you accept. So much easier than disks and USB cables. There have been no negatives so far.

Love the touch screen. I am not a techy, at all. I like this machine. My previous laptop was an HP as well. I like the product you get for the price you pay.

Upgraded from old Sony Vaio. Lots of speed in this Envy. Pages that seem seemed to take forever now load instantly. The battery life is killer, I haven't seen "plug in soon" at all. Lighted keyboard was a must for me. And if you don't put your photos in the cloud, you'll have a hard time filling up the 1TB memory. The first one I got had a problem booting up, taking up to 6 and half minutes. But Best Buy just gave me an even exchange and the second one is everything I thought it was.
