Replaced a couple of the latest Dell laptops with this -- the Dell's had incessant fan noise, heat and speakers on the BOTTOM of the device AND broke down after 2 years. Have had HPs for the last 7-8 years at work and they've been great and this one is so far as well. Faster, more memory, more disk and quiet and cool. So far so good. The only problem we've seen with this is the USB 3.0 doesn't work so well. Tried USB 3.0 flash drives and they didn't work. USB 2.0 devices are fine though.

I recently needed a laptop to replace an old desktop computer and I went to Best Buy because we have had good luck with their recommendations in the past. I have always been an HP fan and this PC has only reinforced my previous impressions. The screen quality is incredible! I almost prefer watching Netflix on my "small screen" now LOL. The tablet portion is extremely responsive and the overall ease of use is terrific. I truly could not be happier with my purchase. The representative at Best Buy was so helpful too!

My husband needed a new computer and chose this model. It's quick to respond and easy to use for us non-tech, old retirees.The backlit keyboard is such a great option for us since we don't have a light over ours. We both use this computer and love it.

This computer is light weight, touch screen and lots of memory. We bought one for my daughter who is in collage and a month later we bought one for our son for his birthday.

Great size to weight ratio with sufficient ram for the i7 processor. Recommend the 1TB hard drive option rather than the 128GB solid state hard drive due to the rather high price point of the solid state drive. The touch pad seems a little large which may make it rather quirky to use for those with smaller hands. Overall, good product for the price. Wait for sale price--shouldn't pay over $799.

I love that this computer meets my needs! So far I've had zero issues with it. It wasn't even difficult for me to get used to Windows 10. I love the spacing of the keys and the depth when you press them. The keypad is also really nice. Not too sensitive like the Samsung I last had. It also has the full number pad! This computer is not very heavy, I love the touchscreen and tablet mode. Very easy to use. The one downfall is that the camera (built in) is low quality, but since I don't use it but for Google Hangouts, it's just fine.

It is still new but am loving the new i7 processor speed. I had the i5 and it is way faster than the old one. The resolution on this laptop is amazing. Everything is faster, internet connection is faster as well. I can not speak for the longevity of this unit since it is new but I am impressed for far The sound from the Bang and Olufsen is great, much cleaner than other laptops I have owned. The laptop I replaced was only 3 years old (Sony i5) and it is a huge improvement.

I liked this model of laptop over others I viewed at Best Buy mainly because the keyboard layout was comfortable under my fingertips. I liked that the number pad was separate for entering a lot of numbers as I do often in spreadsheets. I wanted this machine for the large hard drive and RAM combination which allows me to run the web develop programs I tried to run on my 5 year old laptop. I've had this machine several weeks now and am very happy with its performance. Still learning how to use efficiently some of the options on the function keys.

Great laptop for a college student. Holds a good batter life, has plenty of storage, love the touch screen, and fast internet connection.

This laptop is light weight, you can use touchscreen features and keyboard features. The quality of the display is very good, and the spred of the laptop is great too.

My son is an engineering student and he loves his HP Envy. It has plenty of storage and has a speedy processor. It is thin and light, all with an affordable price.

The computer has great speed and storage for such an affordable price. We use it in our business and have had no issues thus far. I definitely recommend.

Perfect! We had been struggling with what computers to buy. A lot of newer laptops can have a cheap feel to them. This is a very solid feel to it. The touch screen is a great feature to have. Definitely impressed with this HP!

like the slim design, and not bulky at all for an all in one. 1TB HD is nice. Plenty of room for my needs.

I've been very pleased with the feel and touch of the computer. It's light enough to carry with me to meetings. It's easy to manuever, and I'm also getting use to Windows 10. I have the Geek Squad app and found the technical support very helpful when I had pop ups I didn't understand. The Geek Squad at Best Buy is very helpful and knowlegeable. Having this service is a plus!

I love using it as a tablet or tent. I enjoy the new features of windows 10 and Cortana. It is great to be able to just type a question and get easy to follow answers.

Bought this a month ago for work, bought it because of its thin form factor, big screen, i7 CPU and the 12 gig of RAM. No problems although I did have to upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro to be able to join it to a Domain. Touch screen is very nice and responsive. My only complaint and it's a very minor one is that when the keyboard light it on the keys are somewhat hard to see, but not a big deal. Would recommend this machine.

Great Laptop. I switched from a MacBook Pro to the HP Envy and so far I love it! It's fast, intuitive, and I love the touch screen functionality. The only drawback that I have is that I am having trouble intermittently with dropped wireless internet connections and low internet connection speeds. However. Overall, easy to use, and very fast!

This (so far ) is a great computer... its fast and does everything I need it to do in my every day personal and business computer lifestyles. I would recommend this unit to others. The one thing I didn't like at first was the lack of a cd/dvd drive, but after a few weeks I realized I can get by with out it... I will be in the market for a remote CD/DVD write and playback unit...soon.
