I bought this laptop in May 2020, though didn't start using regularly until August. Since then it will just randomly freeze up and require a forced reboot by pressing power button for 6+ seconds. Sometimes it happens once a week, or it can happen two days in a row. Often times it happens when the laptop has been idle for a time (maybe idle for 10 minutes, or idle for 2 hours, etc - there is no pattern). And other times I can literally be typing an email when it completely locks up, so it doesn't just happen when the laptop is not being used. This morning at 8:00am I turned on the external monitor only to realize that once again the mouse and keyboard didn't work and the computer was 'frozen in time' as of 3:26am according to the laptop clock. Months ago I contacted HP support about this reoccurring problem, but it was a total waste of 2 hours. The HP Envy 360 didn't freeze up again until about a week later, and by then the "support" guy had closed out my case. Long story short my HP Envy x360 is a steaming pile of horse poo. I work in IT and have been working from home since the pandemic begin, so it is critical that I be able to have a functioning computer that doesn't just randomly freeze up for no reason at all. I will NEVER buy another HP laptop or printer or any other product after this experience. Only Asus and Dell computers for me from here on out.

Very sleek laptop and so far working well. Main negative thing would be the keyboard layout. Having the numbers on the top and right side is very difficult to use.

I purchased this laptop 2 months ago. Downloaded maybe 2 programs total because I don't use it often at all. Maybe 20-30 photos and five videos uploaded from memory card. All of sudden... Two weeks after it becomes unreturnable... I turn my laptop on, it goes to the lock screen then... Nothing. Absolutely nothing at all. Nothing I touch or press does anything to change that lock screen. It will sit just like that until it goes to sleep. The only button that works is the power button

Purchased a new laptop, sales person said a 2-3 day turnaround to transfer old info to new pc and it took almost 3 weeks after they kept screwing everything up to the point we said wipe it clean and start over!!! Leave a phone number to call that doesn't get answered and they admit to having NO ONE to answer the phone!!! Had to almost cause a mutiny at the store to get mt OWN pc back. NEVER AGAIN

I did a lot of research & settled on this one. It is beautiful to look at the design is fun. Unfortunately it's been a nightmare to say the least. The first one I received would not even turn on was dead on arrival. Took that one back to the store & they shipped me a new one. The new one will turn on but is not acceptable. The WiFi is SLOW even though I have a connection saying strong 4 bars, a brand new router literally this week & checked the speed strength. It takes forever to load anything which is not going to work if you are using this for school or work purposes. Also I hear what everyone is talking about with the noisy fan. I had only used it maybe 30 minutes trying to get it to work & suddenly I heard this weird noise. It sounds like radio frequency white noise mixture. It is bad. Sending this one back as well. Very disappointed as I REALLY was hoping it'd work given the design & style.

I got this computer because, my computer (an HP) was less than one year old and already needed a new motherboard. I took my computer to Geek Squad have it repaired and was told it was going to need to be sent out for 5+ weeks! I got this computer with the intent to return it once I got my other computer back. I will have a hard time buying a computer again from Best Buy, as I have found these HP's which the salesman recommended just haven't lasted for me

Walter Talbot 2847079478 I have made three attempts to correct Best Buy’s mistake and nothing has changed. I have spoken to twelve different people who acknowledge the problem but tell me they cannot correct it and send me to someone else, yet nothing has changed. On August 22, 2020 at Marlborough MA store made we purchased BBY01-806288299782 for HP Envy laptop computer, Webroot Secure Anywhere and Microsoft 365 for one device. The Microsoft 365 for one device was to be applied to the HP Envy laptop computer only. Best Buy cancelled our existing subscription for Microsoft 365 for five devices which we had just renewed on August 9, 2020. According to my membership page the five device subscription does not exist, but the one device subscription appears to be covering all our devices. We need the one device subscription purchased on August 22, 2020 to be applied to the HP Envy laptop computer purchased that day. We need the five device subscription reinstated valid through August 9, 2021.

This laptop is kind of complicated and touch pad is not great .The laptop has great features but the cursor and touch pad made it harder to use

Broke down pretty quickly, CPU overheated from the very beginning.

this computer over heats, makes noise and has problems connecting to wifi. do not recommend

A little disappointed in the speed of this computer so far. It's an I7 so it shouldn't be slow and I was told it's a good computer!

Nice Laptop, would have rated higher, but this is the noisiest laptop i have ever owned, the cooling fan is always running.

I may not have that much to say. I would say you must treat your customers in such a way that they may be prompted to come back.

Looks nice works nice, but limited installed programs. What used to be installed on my older laptops has to be purchased.

I bought and use this solely for streaming, but I always hit CPU usage limit and make my streaming lagged. It's disappointing.

Was excited to get my hands on this laptop until I realized it doesn't have thunderbolt. Update the description Best Buy.

2 things I dislike about this laptop, really noisy fan even after various updates including the bios, battery life is poor. Picture is good, sound is great, touch screen works good, only if that fan would be a little quieter.

Not pleased with this one. The screen flickers, locks up and it gets hot at the back. Not sure what's up with that.

Had to return the laptop because of charging issues. Your curbside assistance was rediculous! The assistants were more interested in having us leave so they could help others. There was a 3 week wait for an apt. The laptop is for school! Your stores are large enough to allow more people inside as needed!!! I’m DONE with Best Buy because of other issues in the past as well!!! NOT HAPPY!

The computer does boot fast, but, this has been one of the most unstable laptops I've owned. I think my Windows ME computer was more stable. It's not WIN 10 that's the problem, I have another WIN 10 laptop that is 5 years old that is way more stable than this machine. Windows explorer is always crashing, and my external USB harddrive peripherals are always being disconnected.
