Great price and very fast computer. Small and compact.

I have bought computers for years and I was always told that buying a better processor was not a big deal. All lies! My computers have been slow and buggy for years. I bought this computer and my problems have been alleviated. Now when I browse the web or have 10 windows open not even a glitch. Now I need to find a girlfriend that works this well for me.

(I got this for around 800 dollars during the Christmas sale.) This gaming pc is amazing! It can run games at max settings, and it can run minecraft shaders as well! VR games like Boneworks and Beat Saber run excellently too with no lag. This pc is a bit loud while playing graphically intensive games though. Overall, this pc is great all-around and is really fast!

Great gaming desktop! Best bang for your buck when on sale. Starts up fast and works great. I like the small size of the case for having on desktop. The mouse and keyboard are good and get the job done. This is certainly not the best computer but Hp managed to put a affordable package together with great specs.

I am liking this computer a lot. Performance is excellent, and the case and MB also had room to add a third hard drive (3TB) in addition to the 1 TB and solid state drive included in the basic computer. Finding it in stock during the Black Friday sale for $250 off normal price made it that much sweeter.

Got it on sale. Was a bit nervous what I was getting for the price. Turns out... Great system! Processor speed is impressive. The 128 SSD does wonders. The graphics card will need an update in a year. Forza said I meet the requirements but not optimized. Other than that one issue, love it!

Absolutely solid unit. Quick speeds. Great for gaming. Can play any game I'd ever want to. I would highly recommend to friends and have actually had a friend purchase this previously after recommending it.

I purchased this on Cyber Monday 2018 in-store. It is a nice, fast system, but caveat emptor! My biggest problem is that it is unstable. The computer will randomly become unresponsive, and go into what one may call a "sleep mode." However, the only way to "wake" it, is to remove it from the power source, and restart it. This happens at least once every time I use it. I have not been able to diagnose the problem's origins, but it is frustrating being that it is a brand new system. (I had my other HP for 8 years, and have not had this many issues.) If I can update this review with the solution later, I will. This HP does not come with nice peripherals. The keyboard is very small, no-frills, and cheap. The mouse is very generic, and does not feel very comfortable when gaming. For a gaming computer, these are absolutely useless. You would expect this from a no-name company, not HP. I purchased a gaming bundle by Corsair, and am much more satisfied with that for my gaming needs. But, you shouldn't have to do this on a system that is not just a couple hundred dollars!! The good features: It's fast with lots of storage! It does not come preloaded with too many useless demo programs. If you are new to Windows 10, it is quite user friendly, and fun to learn and explore its different features. The machine is smaller than many other desktops, so it should fit anywhere. My advice is to shop around first. I really wish I could swap this one for the same model and see if I have the same locking-up issue. Because there was not a demo model in my store, I did not know how awful the keyboard and mouse actual were.

I use mainly for large Photograph Files (over 200,000 photos) and edit with PS, Topaz to sell my photos on line. Editing fast, large Raw files from Canon Mark IV. I have three computers and wanted another desk top. Price was lowest, very happy. Quiet, small.

I've been an online gamer since '05, slogging through World of Warcraft, Everquest II, Rift, etc. at medium graphics at best, always buying the lowest end computer that said it could 'run that game' . Lag was my constant companion, crashes to desktop at the worst times, and 25 man raids were a thing I only dreamed of. This year, I decided to actually buy a computer with the word 'gaming' in the title, and I wasn't disappointed! HP and Asus have been favorite brands of mine, and this thing sits silently beside me, allowing me to play all the above games at ultra settings. The SSD allows everything to fire up almost instantly. I've had this computer for almost a year with zero issues, and would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a gaming desktop in an affordable range!

I bought this desktop to upgrade a four year old model that was showing its age. It is fast, quiet and handles ultra settings on all my current games. It does run a little warm but it hasn’t interfered with its performance.

I use this computer for Graphic Editing and business. I run multiple monitors and it is amazing how fast this things runs and actually keeps up with the full load that I put it under.

super fast, the storage capacity is awesome. I needed something to help me with my picture and video editing. this pc was recommended by store staff and I'm grateful the he was there to help me. very happy with my purchase.

I am so far very satisfied with my HP 690-0034 Gaming Desktop. I only gave it a 4 because of the size/limited upgrade capacity. But I'm ok with the computer as a whole and love the speed and ssd and would recommend it.

This powerful machine has all the specs and horsepower you need on a modern gaming/workstation. Its super quiet and compact even under heavy load. If you get it on sale, its a steal. Best PC i've owned in 20 years.

Overall, this has been a very good computer so far. The only minor issues I have had with it are that, by default, it saves everything to the solid-state drive rather than the main hard drive(though this can easily be changed) and the keyboard which comes with it. The function keys on this keyboard default to being used as "action keys" for things like adjusting the volume and you need to hold down the fn key while pressing them in order to use them as normal function keys. Unfortunately, there is also no fn lock key or any other way to make them default to being function keys, as far as I could find. Especially for a gaming PC where many games use the function keys, this can be rather annoying.

As mentioned in other reviews, this machine does get hot. The air flow in the cast is restrictive and does not allow the air flow needed to keep the box cool. This especially happens when running 4K on a monitor 32 inches and above. When I switched to a 28 inch monitor at 1080P....it didn't get as hot and I could run my games longer. To help keep it cool, I had pull the case lid off and run my fan directly on it. But by doing that, I also had to use compressed air to blow out any dust and stuff. This is good machine for a beginner to moderate gamer as well as someone on a budget. Oh....and the other con to this machine is the case is small and compact which doesn't allow for much upgrade.

Purchased computer for basic things not a big gamer, but love the speed and storage abilities of this machine. Does everything I need it to do very quickly.

This computer just work great all around, if you are new to gaming I would recommend this one, especially if it goes on sale.
