My old computer was downright SLOW. No getting around it. I knew I had to replace it, but I have a problem spending too much on a laptop. To me, a $300 laptop lasts as long $1,000 laptop. I'm almost always able to stretch them out to 5 years. That said, I knew the price point I was looking for. For $300, I got a fun, touch-screen laptop that has the newest operating system. If that's what you're looking for, you've got it here. The touch-screen function is surprisingly addicting. I find myself trying to touch the screen of my work laptop now. It's slightly embarrassing. One thing that bothers me a little is the constant updating, which slows down start up and shut down. It also takes more time than I would like from a brand new laptop to start certain programs or to get to the tile Start screen. It's not slow, but it's not the speed I'd expect out of the box. I'd definitely recommend it though. The keyboard is one of the better ones I've tested, responsive and fast. The camera is adequate and removes the need for my old clip-on webcam (like I said, my old computer was 5 years old). Tough to find much better for the pricepoint.

I was in the market for a new laptop and I always liked HP. When I went in store the didnt have much options and I realized almost everything was touch screen. I called my sister and she recommended this one as she had just bought it. I wasn't to sure about the touch screen option but man do I love it now! This laptop is awesome and for a great price. It is windows so it takes some getting used to but super cool how you can download apps. I ve had it for about 2 months and I'm still playing around with the features. I would definitely recommend this one.

This laptop performs well. The battery life could be better and the machine is a bit heavier than I had hoped but its manageable. I like the touchscreen. Windows 8.1 takes a little getting use to.

Good laptop. Very affordable, had too exchange the first one shipped due to the optic drive being defective. Second run has been great.

The touch screen works great. The only real drawback to this laptop is that it runs Windows 8. Who thought that was a good idea? Anyway, everything works great on the laptop, it has great speed, and there are no connectivity issues. This is a refurbished model. I got a great deal for $300.

I had looked at a Dell touchscreen but ended up w/a HP which I'm happy with. It is taking a little to get used to the keyboard, but I love being able to use both the keyboard and the touchscreen.

This laptop was purchased for my Granddaughter who is preparing to go to college. So far, she has reported she is very pleased with the laptop, especially the touch-screen, and checking out all the features before she leaves town for school. Her mother and I are pleased with our purchase. We are happy this computer will give her good performance during her years at school.

This is no powerbook but it will do. My daughter uses is for websurfing mostly. She also does some light video editing and photo editing. She has not complained about it running slow or anything. She seems happy.

Although I'm not a fan of Widows 8 this laptop worked great right out of the box.

Touchscreen is a big plus! It was nicely refurbished...just like new.

Time will tell. I think this laptop. Is exactly what I need. This is the first time I ever invested in a refurbished item. As I say, so far so good.

I bought this computer for my mother as a present for her 50th birthday/Mother's Day. She is thrilled with it! She loves the touchscreen feature and it's simple to use!

I've never had an issue with this laptop. It's sill kicking.

I really like this laptop. It is my first touchscreen and so far it has been good. The package came on time, clean and polished. It is very easy to use and navigate.
