First time computer sent with bad battery. Return at local store was slow and a drag. Second time computer sent with bad battery again. Return at local store still a drag. Third time computer seems ok. Battery not great.

I'm no whizz on a computer but this works great for what I need ( online banking, email and surfing) plus it has a dvd player.

Battery problems, windows wouldn't update. The worst.

Nice computer took a while to get used to touch screen and windows 8 still is cumbersome.

Daughter wanted a Touchscreen but couldn't afford brand new. Have no complaints thus far. Does everything its suppose to do at at mote affordable price.

the computer is a hardy well thought out computer .not so happy with Windows 8 yet . it takes a little bit of getting used to

I love the computer. It'll be the perfect thing for me when I start school. The battery says it needs to be replaced though?

It's a good quick touchscreen computer to give your kids.probably would have last longer if I didn't give it to a 13 year old

I think this is a good computer, the price was great and looks like they did a good job on refurb!

Had an issue at first but took to store and they fixed it fast

After my computer stopped working, I went in to purchase a new computer with no knowledge of what I wanted. I wasn't looking to spend much and with so many options I didn't know where to start. I had known about the HP touchscreens but didn't seem anything special. However, this computer provided perks including memory, touchscreen and style. Due to a little scratch, I got a great open box deal that allowed me to pay much less than a computer with much less features. I have had the computer for a few days now and it is super simple to use and I love it.

I received this laptop today.. Just like all the other reviews, I immediately received a notice that the battery was not working upon turning on the computer. This alone goes to show you that noone is checking or "certifying" these computers!!! After plugging it in and getting it on, It constantly displays error messages. I have already been on the phone with the Geek Squad 5 times in the past 3 hours and now am being told to return my laptop.. This is RIDICULOUS!! Please do not advertise items as certified if you aren't even checking them.. There is review after review showing this same thing.. I would never recommend!!!

Immediately when I received this laptop and turned it on, an error message reported that the battery needed to be replaced. Naturally, I was confused but convinced, as this product was supposed to be Geek Squad Certified that it was a simple error that would be fixed when brought into Best Buy. However; despite bringing it in the day after I got it, anyone I spoke to did nothing to attempt to resolve the problem and actually attempted to sell me a battery, for a laptop that I had just bought and was supposed to be thoroughly inspected and certified. In the end I returned that laptop and have resolved the Geek Squad certified label amounts to nothing, so I will naturally not be purchasing any other product with this label

This is supposed to be GEEKSQUAD certified. I was so excited when I opened it. Its a great looking laptop and nice size looks like has never been used but when I first turned it on the battery was dead so I plugged it in.. It ONLY works when its plugged it and there's an error message saying it needs a new battery when u first turn it on. Then when its on is says "secure boot isn't configured correctly" just like half of the other people on this review I'm totally upset. I ordered a Tab s also at the same time as this purchase, supposedly geek squad certified and I had to return that too for not working correctly!! If best buy headquarters reads these, they need to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. 2 broken items geek squad certified promising to work perfectly. Its rediculous. People are returning them and their just reshipping out the broken stuff to other customers....be careful people geek squad isn't doing their job! Then they hassle u when u try to return it! I took a chance and now i totally regret it. :( still need to get this laptop fixed or replaced tmrw.... I do like it I'm just bummed there's so many recurring problems. I'm hoping someone reads our reviews and does something to fix it

Great price for a touch screen laptop. AMD-A8 CPU performs better than Intel Core i3 for even less cost. I recommend to upgrade your quad core laptop to 6 or 8 GB of RAM for better performance.

Overall its the laptop is awesome. I did expect the laptop to run a little faster but in the end its does the job. I can play hulu, netflix, and fox sports app on it. Also I used the free anti virus software but honestly when I think about it thats when the issues started with my laptop. And touch screen is on point.

I had a laptop sent out showing all the faults people mention time and time again here for this laptop. The battery problem on boot, needs replacing plus the configuration problem. It's like they accept theses faulty laptops back as returns, do nothing and then send back out to customers like me. So unhappy. Avoid!

I got this laptop for my daughters birthdate and the battery was not charging and I would get an error message when turning on. We returned it per geek squad due to bad battery order a second one and this one is the same :( Not sure if they sent the same one or what happen but I'm very unhappy as this was a gift. Best buy online unable to help me ask me to go to the store for the second time.
