My two daughters were hoping to share a tablet for Christmas. When I saw the great price on these refurbished laptops, I decided it would be OK for them to each have their own, plus have the option of full laptop functionality, as well as the full Windows 10 operating system to run their existing software and games. One daughter uses it primarily as a laptop, and the other primarily as a tablet, so the decision to go with a convertible was a good one. It has enough power to play the games they want to play (even without a dedicated graphics card) and enough battery life for them not to be tethered to a wall all the time. Since they watch a lot of YouTube and Netflix, this easily replaces the idea of a TV we were talking about getting them for their room.

I rolled the dice on a refurbished unit and wound up on the losing end. The computer was great for the one solid week that it actually worked. Gave this as a Christmas present and by January 3rd the hard drive went. Decided to just stick with buying new after that.

When I received the laptop, the outside is in great shape, but I found a ton of hidden viruses and extra programs that were slowing the computer down a great deal. Luckily I have friends who can fix that because the Geek Squad was not up for the challenge either!! I will buy from somewhere else next time, and brand new!!

This laptop is perfect for the price it is given at! It is cheap compared to the other 2-1 laptops and it does every thing better than all the other ones!

It worked for like a day and then started acting weird. Returned it in less than a week.

I returned his product to Bestbuy as it has a problem with screen.

I bought this computer for my wife. It was the best deal I could find online for this good of a system. Good price since it was refurbished.

I purchased this refurbished laptop from Best Buy online for my daughter. I also utilized a rush delivery for an extra fee. The laptop got to us on time and we were excited because of the 2 in 1 feature. However, the excitement stopped there. The cable that came with the refurbished laptop did not fit the socket of the laptop. The laptop won't even turn on, so I'm not even sure if the laptop works yet. I called customer service to ask them to send a new cable. But they said I needed to return everything, then they can re-send the order. But customer service was very courteous and suggested that since I have the 1-yr accidental protection plan, call the parts/Geek Squad for the replacement cable. I'm typing this up as I'm on hold for close to 30 minutes now (I called the local Best Buy Geek Squad, in hopes to get a replacement cable#. I'll add another review after the call. My ratings may go up; but, thus far, I highly doubt it. My thing is, isn't it common sense to check if the power cable fits and works on the laptop before you certify it as being Geek Squad Tested and Certified. ------- I was on hold for 30 minutes, was told Geek Squad was too busy to pick-up helping a corporate client/group. Was asked to call again later. NOT TOO HAPPY! It may be faster, if I just bought another cable with my own money. What good is the protection plan if you cant' use it! ---------------- Called Geek Squad Parts #2nd time#, gave them the protection id # told them they made the mistake on the order. They said I needed to supply them the serial number. I told them the laptop is at home and I don't have it. I also told them I called their number yesterday but missed their 7pm central time closing time. They said there are no exceptions. I will talk to my daughter and convince her to return the order back. This was my first online order with Best Buy and will be the last. I will order another similar item from Dell. I should have gone with them to start with. They have never let us down. My bad call.
