    I purchased one of these several years ago for my girlfriend. It was inexpensive and worked well enough for about a year. Although the screen does not have very vibrant colors and always appeared kind of dull compared to other laptops. Then about a year and half into ownership the bottom left part of the screen started to separate from the base and actually come apart!! I did some checking and some research. I spoke with computer repair shops to tyr and get this fixed. Turns out it is an issue with these laptops. And HP will do nothing to fix it, if it happens to you! So...buyer beware. I used to be a fan of HP. PCs printers, etc. Never again!
