Price was ok (not great) for a GekSquad Refurb Item. Works fine for house hold use. They could have upgraded the RAM for this price. Screen is good. I thought it to be more light in weight, for sleek. I guess not.

I have been using this computer for a month. There is no significant issue so far. I misread about DVD drive, which didn't come with this laptop. Compared to my other laptop (17.3" HP with AMD Radeon HD 6620G), screen display and resolution are just okay.

Glad I found this deal. Worth every penny.I don't know enough about technology to know exactly what I wanted. The sales person was very helpful.

Saw this laptop at a great price for the potential level of performance it would offer. Got to its destination pretty quickly and everything came in the box had NO ISSUES setting up. Performs exceptionally well for the price. Really lightweight as well! Would definitely recommend this to anyone! PS arj1997 just because you had a bad incident with customer service does not mean the machine itself is any less great

(PLEASE READ THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD) Thank You! When I first started this laptop up, I was pretty surprised. I got it up and working in no time and it looked really nice. Loaded browsers up pretty fine and updated updates pretty well. Well, one night it started to go down hill after 3 months of use. The keyboard had hardware failures, speakers had hardware failures, and even the mouse pad had hardware failures... So with me getting extremely mad over this computer, I had no choice but to Factory Reset the laptop. I wasn't going to take it in and get it fixed for what they couldn't do then pay a lot of money. So I reset it and everything seemed okay after that. The keyboard, mouse, and speakers all worked. Which brings me to the worst part of this computer... This might just happen to mine but if you get this, be warned. I wanted to update my computer to 8.1, but to get it to update to 8.1 you need to update the regular drivers and extra stuff from the regular windows 8. Well it wouldn't update the updates... So I had to fix the problem which took a day. So I got the updates done and was able to update 8.1, well guess what! Once you click the big icon for the 8.1 download it doesn't open, nothing happens! You can click and click and click the icon, but nothing happens. So I looked, and looked, and looked all over the place to fined the problem and fix it. No one seemed to have that problem. Then after that the Norton Security stopped working also. Then I got more updates for the computer, but can't update them again... I'm honestly done with this computer. It just makes me want to throw it out the window! It doesn't want to cooperate and it really doesn't want me to update to 8.1... When I first got the laptop it even updated to 8.1!!! This laptop is so stressful! It's up to you if you want to get this so called "sleekbook" laptop. But I forewarned you. It's not a decent laptop...

Bought this for my wife who uses it simply for Office and internet. Nothing else. She is not picky at all when it comes to computers. Thus I was surprised when she complained about how slow it is. There is a reason this laptop is so cheap. four weeks outside of warranty the HD crashed. If you choose to buy this, you've been warned. Back up all your data because you will need it later. If you enjoy, downtime, headaches and stress, this is the laptop for you. Even BB Geek Squad had nothing but bad things to say about this laptop.

I purchased this as a starter laptop for my son. I thought this would be a reliable unit and a great Christmas present for him, as we have never had any issues with purchasing refurbs before. When we opened up the box to try it out we could not get the power cord to fit into the laptop. I called the 888-best-buy number and they advised me to take it to the store to have the geek squad inspect it. I took it into the geek squad this morning and they confirmed the obvious problem that the power cord was compatible with the laptop. They also said they could not get me a new power cord for it either....they said I would have to do it on my own by calling the 888-best-buy number. I was pretty shocked that they were so unwilling to help me in the store, so I decided to just return it, as I did not want to continue going in circles trying to get the correct power cord. The geek squad advertisement on this was that they work very hard to make sure they send out a "tested and approved" product. I am pretty sure they should not have that as part of their advertisement! I had to give this a 1 star rating, only because it would not allow a 0 star rating.
