If you print under 10 pages a day, this is the ideal multi-purpose printer. The color laser quality is first class and the scanning is simple to use. The software installed easily, recognized my PC, iPad, iPhone and wired network devices too. No hick-ups. The best in its class, and priced not bad either.

I've wanted a color laserjet printer for a long time and finally took the plunge. I did research online first and the one I picked - this one - happened to be at my local BB. It was a no brainer. I also expected to have to drop more $$$ on toner, but it came with cartridges to get me going.

Great output quality, relatively easy to set up. Had some challenges setting up for wifi printing but HP support worked with me to get it up and running. One disappointment - if you want to scan or copy double sided documents you have to manually flip the document over and re-feed it through the document feeder, which is a bit of a pain.

I've had this printer for about two months and I love it. I have it connected via WiFi, and have never had an issue with connectivity, even after my desktop computer and printer both go into sleep mode, as some reviews have stated. It wakes up quickly and prints really sharp pages. The scanner and photocopier work great as well. It's nice to not have to change ink cartridges all the time as was the case with my prior deskjet printer. I definitely recommend this printer!! You won't be disappointed.

The process from unboxing, setting it up, installing drivers and testing took about 30 to 40 mins... am using the wireless network for connectivity. Very satisfied with the entire experience... didn't give it 5 stars since that is very hard in my mind to achieve, however, I would have given it a 4.5 if fractional values were available!

Easy to use, accessability, great quality and functions

I've used a color inkjet printer for many years, but was frustrated by not being able to use the printer if any one of the cartridges were out, so I decided to make the switch to a laserjet. Almost immediately, I was happy that I made the switch. I work from home, so having a quick and reliable printer and scanner is crucial. The biggest benefit for me has been the ability to scan multiple pages and have them convert into a .pdf file and sent right to my email. The printer is much taller and heavier than previous ones I've owned, but it's well worth it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

We love the HP 2727 and our new HP 277 color laser. Our B/W still works perfectly 17 years later and timer last 9 plus months with heavy use. The HP277 is great as well. It is worth paying a bit more for a Laser Printer that works perfectly and is dependable.

I purchased this printer primarily for the size for my home office. The setup and installation was easy and straightforward. Print quality is typical HP, very good.

It is easy to set up, use, and prints pretty fast.

I've had this printer a few months now and so far it's been great. Connectivity has been so simple. Quality of print outs is what you expect from a laser printer. The only thing we worry about is finding the toner cartridges when the time comes, but we haven't needed one yet.

Just as advertised. This laser printer is indeed 30-40% smaller footprint than competitors and has individual color tanks which I appreciate. Much quieter than my current ink jet printer. Best Buy matched Amazon price which is HUGE and I was able to buy and pick up same day! No more Amazon electronics purchases for me. Smart strategy Best Buy! You have all my business going forward.

I upgraded from an AIO Epson Inkjet to this LaserJet Pro. Very happy so far. I originally went with inkjet because of its flexibility and lower acquisition cost. I knew ink was expensive compared to toner over the long term, but I really dont print all that much. The quality of inkjet was not good. Alignment problems, colors were off (compared to a scanned photo for example). This Laserjet Pro has crisp, accurate color printouts. Text is perfect. First print a little slower than inkjet, but not noticeable unless I get out my stopwatch. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that this printer is not a duplex scanner. It is a duplex PRINTER but not scanner. It does come with I.R.I.S. software that lets you put a stack of printed paper in, scan the stack -- then tells you to flip the stack over and click "go" and it scans the back side of each page. Then the software shuffles the images together to successfully reproduce the document in proper page order. So it's functional but has to be executed from a computer with the IRIS software (you cant do it from the control panel on the printer). I consider this a minor inconvenience compared to the extremely high quality printouts. Other quick thoughts... Scanning is slow, but quality is good. Single sheet feeder seems to feed the paper crooked (fixed by putting single sheets in the paper tray). Touch panel menu is intuitive. Again -- overall, very happy with the purchase.

I was in need of a new printer on pretty short notice. After some research, I came across this model, which does everything I need. It was easy to set up for multiple computers & phones as well. So far, I have had no issues, and hope that it lasts longer than my Dell !!

This has has been the best multi-function, wireless printer I have purchased. It is my first laserjet and I love it. Setup was very easy, especially getting it connected to my network. I am so accustomed to using an usb cable for ease of use, considering my bad luck with other wireless printers. This one has been great from the start. Upon setup I tested it with 5 devices (2 computers, 2 iphones, and a tablet) and printing was hassle free. The only thing that I would change is having page setup options from phone. However, I believe the downloadable app covers that.

Wanted to finally upgrade to color laser and it was worth it. Printing is crisp and clean. Scan to network and print from phone functions are great. Not super fast if you need to print many pages quickly but if that's not a concern it's a great printer for the price.

The printer is excellent and delivers high quality output. It's a fantastic upgrade if your accustomed to inkjet and constant replacement of ink cartridges. First time I have had a printer that I can print over my network from any device including iDevices. In addition HP has the great feature that makes the printer an email address so if your not at home or using someone else's device you can email the document(s) to the printer and they will be printed without need to share network credentials or load the printer on the device being used. Biggest turn off was the set-up instructions. Other reviewers commented on the same but like many I assumed it was OE. Unfortunately as a savvy electronics person I too really struggled by following the de-structions provided by HP with the printer. After a little research I found information on how to modify default settings through the printers IP address user interface. The default settings were causing issues with the printer going off-line and then not being recognized when sent a print job. Bottom line for set-up with Windows 10 simply put the printer on your wifi network and then load the printer on your computer using the Windows <add printer> function. Do not use or got to the HP website with their set-up wizard. You also cannot set up using USB and then switch to wifi. Choose either one for set-up and use but not both.

This is a great buy , to many features to mention, you get a scanner, a two sided printer, a fax machine, a copier, and all this is wireless connect ,you can do everything right from your phone or wireless laptop, this is a great buy, bestbuy ! ! ! ! ! !

Have this in my office, the scan feature was a bit confusing at first, but it works well, fast printing, easy paper load. Love the small footprint
